Andrew Simpkin did not give me any help

I called AS yesterday and got the same answer, to call 1225. maybe he started not to look for the cases for us any more. I am wondering at what point Dos/CA officers (not 1225) can help us.

Why can he give answer to others? I can see his logic, you can ask questions from information 1225 people. If you have questions about the answers, you need to reason with them. He cannot check his collueges work.

However, I think we ought to keep calling DoS/CA (not 1225). It is easy to go through the line. Large volumes of call to Dos/CA will bring attention, to make the DoS/CA another informaiton line, although they refuse to answer the call.

Yep, I got the same answer today, when asking for Simpkin..... A lady told me that he does not deal with K1 VISA issues. I think we have depleted this resource already. I was transferred to 1225, but a lady answered the phone and took my phone number and fiancee's VISA info. She said a VISA specialist will get back to me.... I don't have much hope they will get back to me. I also got a call from my senator's office, they said they can't expedite the clearance process and they are not able to get any info. from DOS either......Crap! :(

I personally think AS is now totally overwhelmed. He has been a valuable source but I suspect there is only so much he can do. For the time being, I think that well has run dry. I agree with Ski, head after the Congressional people and also, GZ. The DoS 1225 line is of little help in my opinion. They are really the last to know.

I agree totally. I think A.S. has been overwhelmed by our calls. He is likely tired of and sees no reason to keep answering the same questions over and over from each of us. He knows that he can answer a question once and the rest of us can read it here on Candle. Then he can get back to work fixing this mess. (A.S., if you read this please confirm!)

A.S. has expressed optimism in the past couple weeks. Let's hope he has the power to make the things happen that he as mentioned. I still think most of our cases are sitting in a pile at GZ. We just have to get them to stop taking so many holidays and print the @#!# visas!! :(

I will write him a letter, saying thanks soo much, then promise him not to bother him again, and I will then "harass" someone else... He has been extremely professional and helpful.. But I think he has had it. I don't blame him.

Go ahead and flame me, but this is one reason why P.J. didn't want names and 'unlisted' phone numbers posted. Greg has been reassigned, too.

I know R2D2 can confirm the old saying, "you can work a good hoss to death".

Although our membership is about 300, there are at least an equal number of non-members who can read the main forum. Imagine having your name and number posted here if you were working to get this mess cleaned up.

I will ask members again to not post names & numbers that aren't available from public sources like 'official' web sites. If you develop a good source, keep it pretty close to the vest when you share the info. In the long run, that will be more beneficial to you and everyone else.

Don yes, but let's be realistic.. friends email each other, PM each other.. This is unavoidable, but could be somewhat kept in check, I agree with you here.
