If my memory serves me correct, your timeline is very similar to mine. So far we have not received our P4 and are still waiting patiently. :) You may want to wait a little longer before contacting the congressman. I believe both your P4 and ours are due to arrive soon.

Don't write. Call. Always call first. Ask to speak with the person in your area that has been delegated to handle immigration issues. After talking with them, get their fax number. You will need to sign an authorized release for them to handle your case. Fax that back along with a letter that carefully addresses your concerns. Provide the basic data on your case, like case number, your name, your SO's name. You can do this by sending copies of your petition and G325a.

After you fax the information call their office back to ensure it was received. Call their office often. Get names and numbers. Keep a log book

You can go to http://www.house.gov/ and http://www.senate.gov/.

Most only have a web form to send emails, for immigration issues each seem to have an assistant to help with these and sending a fax or going in person seems to be the only way to contact them quickly.

I sent two emails to my House Rep (CA) but the website was sending them to the Washington D.C. office. I got no reply. I finally called the local office and there was someone there to help me right away! She is looking into my case now.

I wonder why an email sent to Washington D.C. is ignored and how I got help by one call to the local office and they listened. What is the point of having the email on the website go to Washington D.C...........Hmmmmmmmmmm. It is an insane setup I think. Please learn from my mistake.

Call or go to local office please (of House Rep at least).

Best of luck,

Larry

Yes, this is PRECISELY the reason I suggested you call. Seems letters get buried and lost.

Call your local offices for the US senate. Both of them. Ask to speak with the person delegated to handle immigration issues. If you cannot be immediately connected leave a message in their voicemail with your contact numbers. Call everyday until they return your call. They will have a release form, have them fax that to you, or you can write a little diddy that says that you authorize them to act on your case on your behalf.....

My local governent officials now know me pretty well..... B) :)
