I called the 1225 line, knowing that they are the bottom of the food chain. The woman took a long time to check, asked my fiancees name, then asked my name and phone number. She stated they are making a list and investigating and perhaps calling back.

 

Any other unusual responses from 1225?

You probably got this lady called Jenette, who does not want case # and takes forever to look up something. Obviously there is no cross-training in this look up deal -- don't know they function. Your best bet is to call back hoping to get a different person, good luck.

You should always get the name of the person you speak to on this line--especially if they say they will return your call.

I know who you spoke with also, she needs further training, this is a clear example of american tax dollars at work, 40 thou a year and 20 coffee breaks a day, plus 1 hour lunch

I spoke with Jeanette on Jan. 21, and she said I should send a fax to her personal attention. She did take a long time to look things up, and she did seem very compassionate, and was appalled that we had been waiting so long. Of course I did send the fax the following day and have heard no response.

I seem to get the same person all week, do they take one week shifts at answering the queue? Any othersexperience this?
