RFE for I-693 Vaccination Supplement

Recommended Posts

We received a RFE for I-693 Vaccination Supplement after her AOS was transfered to CSC. She is pregnant and due in early March but we must respond with the Vaccination Supplement by February 20.

We discussed these vaccinations with her doctor a couple of weeks ago and she advised the TD is probably okay but the MMR and Varicella shoult NOT be given to her in her condition (I confirmed this to be true on the CDC website).

So, what to do?

Would a Civil Surgeon still sign off? As complete? Waived?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Pat

Yes, get the OBS to write a statement that she is in fact pregnant. This will exempt her from ALL of the live vaccines (and possibly the rest of them)!

The civil surgeon should fill out the I-693 saying the vaccines are not indicated or appropriate. If not, go to another civil surgeon!

Good luck and CONGRATS on the little one on the way!!!!! :o :greenblob:
