Don&MuSi
Hi,I have been reading the posts and need some advice. Currently, our application for a K-1 visa has been approved through INS. The paperwork had been sent to the Guangzhou Embassy Dec. 17, 2002. My fiance is still waiting to hear from the Embassy. Does anyone know how I can find out what is happening with our Fiance Visa App? I have tried emailing the Embassy twice and have received no response. Should I call Andrew Simpkin? I see that others have called him for information, but I wonder if the application is not at the correct stage and he wouldn't have answers for me yet. Any ideas???Thanks,Don Link to comment
tonado
Don, It usually take at least 3 to 4 months from NOA2 before you get P3. Since they had Xmas and Chinese New Year Holidays, it may take longer. Also, they are supposed to work on pending visas now. Did you try calling GZ? Link to comment
skibum
No, don't call Mr. Simkin. Get to know the person in your Congressman's office in charge of immigration. The first thing they will do is to contact the consulate for you and try to find out where it is. Probably just a form letter. Both DOS and GUZ have better things to do right now with getting the backlog finished. Link to comment
