LiandLarry
Hi guys, I am Li. I am wondering what else we can do after 15 days no news from NVC Supervisor. Does it work to connect with Congressmen and Senators , FBI mailoffice, Harty Maura?? Which way would be efficient? No time to waste on waiting for nothing since our K1 case applied last April. Thanks. Li Link to comment
Randy W
It's very difficult to get information that way, but sometimes it does wake up a paper pusher. Keep after them! Good luck - we'll be watching. Link to comment
cosmiclobster
I recommend contacting your congressperson. Write then a nice letter asking if they can help you. Send them a picture of the two of you together. Send an e mail or visit their office in person. I got our P2 a week after I contacted them!Good luck! Link to comment
tywy_99
One thing that may be of a little satisfaction is to mail the NVC a letter inquiring about your case. Mail it certified in which you can track it via delivery service. Make sure to find the correct mailing address for inquiries. Looks like you two have been waiting way too long! -good luck Link to comment
Yuanyang
An 11 month name check inquiry is absolutely ridiculous! Either they have dug up something on your fiancee or they haven't. You have demostrated the patience of Job in this process and it's past time (IMHO) to get pi$$ed off. I 2nd Steve's recommendation that you contact your Congressional representative ASAP (you will have to sign a release allowing their office access to your data). Provide the representative's aide with a summary of the dates and attach the details of each and every communique with NVC along with their response. Link to comment

She actually spent the time to listen to the facts and seemed very interrested and can't imagine why we would be held up at NVC for such a long time with no word. She is sending the form for me to sign. I will email to her a letter of all the facts and mail back the form. I hope this works. After over 7 months at CSC and now over one year at NVC it is not a good thing to play "sane" at this point, it is driving us "NUTS"!!! Thank you for all of your good advice. I hope this breaks it loose. Sincerely, Larry Link to comment
Randy W
Also, keep posting! (Maybe start a new topic once in a while) So we'll know what's going on, and if someone can't help, at least you'll feel like you're doing something. You deserve (and need) all the attention you can get! Link to comment
