sfarkas103
We are going to pick-up plane tickets to the States and the agency here in China says they want a copy of her visa and other information. They say this is a new US Gov. regulation. Anyone heard of this? I know prior to this you just book the ticket and go. Is this request legit?? Link to comment
Guest Gene
I have heard of some places asking for this, but I don't think it is a US government requirement. Obviously she will need them to board the plane. Try another agency. Link to comment

When I bought my wifes ticket here through flychina.com a year and a half ago nothing was needed until she boarded the plane. Then she had to have the visa and passport. Link to comment

I purchased my SO's ticket directly with Delta 3 weeks ago & all that they asked for was her nam exactly as it appeard on her Passport. That was it and had her tickets in hand, 2 days later via Fed X. Definately try another Agency. Link to comment
cosmiclobster
We bought tickets 7 months ago and she didn't show her passport or visa to anyone except the check in counter at the airport.I second the "find another travel agent" suggestion. To see the visa is one thing, to make a copy of it is asking for trouble! david_dawei
We bought tickets a few months ago in BJ.. they asked for the passport. We had it. So we gave it to them. Link to comment
