tall4anasian
hi folks, Ok its been 1 1/2 month since my final package left from NVC to GZ. CR1 here. I emailed and called GZ to check if they recieved my wife's packet. I think NVC uses DHL. ANyhow, GZ told me that they havent recieved it yet. And also told me that it COULD be there. But just havent put it in their computer system. So with 1 1/2 month already past. Should I worry or need to just wait a bit longer? Thanks Link to comment
LeeFisher3
This hasn't seemed to speed up with the move, we were lucky ours only took a month, but there are those who have had longer time frames. Requesting an update once a week to see if it has been entered into their system is not unreasonable, or you could call the DOS number for the same information. Link to comment

Thanks 151772[/snapback]It took me almost two months before it finally hit the computer in Guangzhou. Now I am two months into a name check. Some people seem to sail right through while others plod along. I submitted a 130 Sept 13th and 129 Nov 14th 2004 and nothing. I guess you just have patience. Link to comment
Guest Gene
Welcome Aboard The average used to be about 45 days from NVC mailing date to input in to there system. I would say your right on the edge of that. I have never heard of a case being "lost" on transit, so your probably alright. I would call DOS tomorrow morning. Link to comment

Dennis143
My SO mailed her P3 to GZ on 8/3/05. Last week, on 9/1/05, I emailed GZ to see if they received the P3. I got an immediate response back on 9/2/05 that stated that they received the packet and will schedule an interview 'in a few months.' Link to comment

warpedbored
I wouldn't panic yet but I would be making inquiries. Ours took 5 weeks before P-3 was sent out after it cleared NVC but that was a year and a half ago and they are slower now. I would try calling the Dept of State 202 663 1225 hit 1 then 0 and see if it is entered into the database yet. In the meantime keep emailing GZ once a week. Good luck. Link to comment
