  1. Green card quick!. Arrived in USA , and 2 weeks later. Green card in our mail box.. CR-1 rocks
  2. yeah. It was funny to see those "visa consultants" standing outside on level 4 and trying to persuade you in their office.
  3. Youll be fine. Have a safe trip. You will pass.
  4. hey when was your interview? Mine was on march 30th. Maybe I saw you at the coffee shop
  5. Her interview was on March 30th. In the morning. We arrived at the consulate 7:30 am. And there was already a decent size line. At 8:30 am, the outside security guards check your passports and the interview letter, and then gives you a numbered ticket. Then you can go in . My wife chose her interview in English. Even though we communicate in Chinese. The VO asked for our pictures, and asked what my email address was. The last thing that he asked was my current affadavit of support. My wife told me that the key to the interview is having full confidence. I guess the VO looks out for this. The interview was on a thur. So our visa was ready on sat. The China Post office opens at 9am sat. But we arrived there at 7:30 am. There was already a line outside. At 8:30 am, the security guard opens the door, so you can go in and grab a number. You know one of those numbers that the computer dispenses out. It was crazy though. People ran to that computer, and were pushing and shoving each other. I was very angry because we were one of the people up front. There was no order, courtesy whatsoever. Im not use to seeing this. If it was here in America, people would just be polite and get in line There is only 2 people at the China Post, handing out these EMS visa packages. So its kind of a slow process. So be ready and get there early. Anyhow, its good to be out of GZ, we are back in her hometown, and will be leaving to USA soon. respectfully, Lee Total time frame 1 year and 3 months. CR1
  6. Its not those photos guys. Its the photo on her chinese passport.
  7. hello, number 1 as you listed . Wouldnt take 2 to 3 years. I went that route, and it only took 1 year and 3 months.
  8. Is it true, that they only credit 20% of your home's asset/equity value towards your income? Thanks
  9. You think when it comes time for the interview. That the VO will ask my wife. "Who paid for my plane tickets"?
  10. Hi, If your income is sufficient this will not really be needed. I will give details on mine, but I will just give copies of the payment docs from my property manager. If you have a recent appraisal I suppose that would be good too, but the income is the most important. -James 196226[/snapback] My income is suff. But I want this to. You know, "Just to be sure" . So if theres anyone else here. Please give me more of your feedbacks. Thanks
  11. Hello, Im in the midst of doing my aff. of support. My realtor works for Remax. Can he type up a document. Stating the value of my 2 rentals? Or is there another way of doing this? Thanks again..
  12. Hello, Is it ok, if there is a tiny/blemish defect on the passport photo? Its a size of a pinhead. Looks like piece of the color came off. Its on the lower right cheek. Thank you..
  13. 05 , 04 , 03-- 1040 income taxes to the interview? I know that GZ already has copies of my 02, 03 from the beginning of my case. Thanks guys.
  14. I heard its pretty ghetto in GZ. Theres people trying to rob you and your papers after the interview. And wanting a ransome. Anyhow, im going to the interview with my wife. Thinking about wearing my backpack up front and having a small lock. You know lock the paperwork in the bag. And be ready to kick some a$$ if anyone messes with us. What are your experiences? We will stay at a hotel very close to the consulate. Your feedbacks are greatly appreciated. Thanks
