obxtrainman
Does when the check is cashed by USCIS for a specific form, have any meaning? My noa1 for our I-130 is for april-05. My bank shows check was cashed on April-7-05. Yet I have heard nothing, no touchy, no nothing. It has now been 119 days since noa1. Damn, I should have sent off 129f, several times in last two months Link to comment
tywy_99
It took 8 months from NOA1 to NOA2 for us on the I-130.I don't know the length of time now but I think it is better than it was before. Link to comment
LeeFisher3
The cashed check and NOA1 is a good thing, seems that California is slower at the approval process. Not that it helps much, but Texas and California are both showing they are processing March 7 as of 10 days ago. In our case the we received the approval about 30 days before the processing date was supposed to get to our application. Link to comment
HanLi
hang in there, and send a inquiry to the NVC regarding the status. Good luck and think of the future with your SO. Link to comment
obxtrainman
What no opinions? I thought this was a legitmate question. Since no one actually told me anything specific, I tried to run a search. I came up with nothing. The content of my original question was: is there any significance as to the cashing of our checks, and when they start on our files. Link to comment
HanLi
I don't think that cashing the check has any significance on the timeline. It seems that if it wasn't cashed, you would definitely not hear anything unless you made an inquiry. Link to comment
Trigg
CSC is now processing I-130s submitted in March 05--so you should be hearing something soon. this is a link to UCIS site to check processing dates etc..https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptim...id=aZa-5Nr6fRqf Link to comment
