please interpret GZ's e-mail for me

I wrote to GZ to find out if my SO had passed her name check. This is the response I got:

Thank you for your inquiry. The subject mentioned case is about to be

scheduled for a visa interview. Once we schedule the case, we will mail an

appointment packet to the applicant. Due to the huge number of applicant, it may take a few months to schedule.

____

 

Sounds good to me! I guess that means the name check is complete and we're almost there? The prediction date for my P4 is late July....do you think there is cause here to expect it a little sooner than that?

Things have changed considerably in GZ since we ran the gauntlet but I got a very similar letter from them in reply to my very similar querry. They said it may be a few months. Bing got P-4 a week later. Good luck, I hope it is good news.

xulei601, we are in the same boat. I keep getting the same response, that we are queuing up to be scheduled. In other words just wait.......

Sounds like everything's done except for finding an interview slot. You're getting close.

Look at it as a good thing, but take it with a grain of salt. I had the exact response 3 different times. I've even asked specifically about name check and got similar responces, the last of which can 2 days before DOS informed me of Jen's P4. You are certainly on your way, just keep bugging GZ.
