Ling finally Rec'd State ID

Just a few months ago, I was trying to get Ling a state ID card, and I was going throught a real run around, and what we needed, so when I had to register the car, I was talking to this lady at the bureau about it and what I needed, and I could not belive what she said that I needed this time, well before I say what, b4 was a bunch of crap, like a letter from my employer saying that I was her sole supporter (and this was from the main office of the DMV here). Well this time, I was told that all that I need was her I-797, her I-94, her passport(which has the I-94 in it), marriage cert, birth cert. Also just to prove that she was living here, I brought along a bill from the hospital that had her name on it and where she was living.

 

So when I walked in, they called our number, walked up, told the clerk what we needed, handed all of the papers over, the super was there, and she just said to the clerk, this man has it together. Within 10 minutes she had her new ID, and she was so happy. She is really starting to feel like she belongs. She now has that, her Ladies Auxiliary Eagles Card, and this weekend, her social card to the VFW, so that she will now be a member there.
