I noticed from your time line that you recieved your P4 just a month and 10 days after you received your P3:

P-3 Received......................2/20/04

Mailed Back........................2/23/04

GZ Receives.......................2/25/04

Received P-4......................3/30/04

What did you do to get such a quick turn around time?

I see your interview is on 5/20 now, best of luck!

Hey Jim,

Whenever I contact GUZ through email, I always select the "Other" option, and it seems to work. Like others have indicated, this may force them to actually read your email. In addition, you can call the DOS and ask them for advice on what to do. Put them in your shoes.

wulongtea, I think that I just got real lucky. Her first P-3 was sent to the states, while it was still getting here, I found out that it was mailed, so back then she was able to walk the 3 blocks from her fouse to the consulate and get another one, fill out quickly, and mail it. She lived tight there on Shamian, plus I think her name check was quick because she worked for the gov't at the time. Now we are waiting to see how long the turn around is on the IR-1
