  1. I also agree that's part of the problem, things are so secret that each agency doesn't know what the other is doing and probably doesn't trust them, you know what I mean?
  2. Have you tried looking at http://www.freeservers.com When I had my website with them, I never remember getting a bandwidth restriction.
  3. What are you talking about, you met the love of your life didn't you?
  4. It does seem to spur sort of an agreesive feeling...
  5. More movement is better I think Of course you see my logo and it's not moving
  6. That's one of the problems with Geocities, is that they limit the amount of bandwidth per hour, so you just have to click often
  7. Just like I always say, I'd rather be lucky than good.
  8. That would be interesting, but kind of leads to some sort of segregation, after all we should look at it that we are all in this together. So let's abolish the blue thingies instead
  9. I know what you mean, when it comes to policy and procedure, it can be down right heartless.
  10. I don't think anyone can guarentee anything with it comes to security, the government is purposely ambiguous about this so people can't figure it out. Also one check could refer to a whole process and not just an individual act.
  11. I wouldn't put any money in this slot machine
  12. Let's hope there visa printing machine doesn't get worn out. When I was in GZ last time, I went to also add passport pages, and of course what did they say, the machine for China broke down, so no passport pages for you, come the next day...
  13. It does make some sense that they would send them in batches instead of a few a day, could be a way to do some scheduling of resources, if GZ knew that lots of them were coming at a certain time, then they could plan for it.
  14. Ditto (As I try and pad my messages posted to catch up to our top guy James )
  15. James with the 5 blue thingies now, I guess I better get back to work
  16. I would think the government would increase the lines of communication for security reasons, but who knows, this part I believe is the "bingo" theory you mentioned
  17. Well, maybe it's sort of like bingo, where they are spot checking some requests, after all this is "security" checks they are doing, if they truly documented the process to the public, people would find a way around it, then I wouldn't think that it called "security" anymore.
  18. I think that's the wrong attitude, we should all be happy that are getting visas no matter the order. When they are doing these security checks, who knows what possible pitfalls there are. If they really wanted to be a pain about it and do FIFO, think of them stopping the process to make sure that each one is done in order, so everything there is an issue, it would delay the whole process, I'm glad they are simultaneously working on as many visas as they can.
  19. I called DOS yesterday and they said that our security clearance wasn't done yet either, oh well.
  20. It's good that we're finally seeing activity, now let's hope they are thorough and don't miss things..
