Finally! CITIC Bank phoned me this morning and told me that I can pick up my visa packet and passport. My passport with visa is in hand now. This website has been a big help for me. I want to thank everyone who has helped me by answering my questions and been giving me so much input.

I had my document intake about 8:30AM then they called my number for fingerprints intake about 15 minutes later. Then I waited again until they call my number for interview. I had my interview about 10:45AM. The VO asked some questions such as how did you meet your husband? have you been to US before? etc. At the end, the VO said congratulations! my visa is approved then gave me approval letter and instructions on how to pay the $165 online before entering the states. I left the U.S. Consulate Guangzhou afterward. Hope your wife interview will go well!

Does anyone know if the CITIC Bank will give a call to pick-up the passport and visa packet? I checked my passport status at ustraveldocs and it said "ready for pick up." Then I went to the CITIC Bank branch I have chosen to pick up my passport but they said they didn't have my passport and visa packet. It MAY BE still in Guangzhou or Hefei. They also said I have to wait about 3-5 days and when it arrives they will call me. Based on ustraveldocs webpage, I should be able to pick-up my passport when the status is "ready for pick-up." It was really concerned me by not getting any right answers from the bank. Thanks for any responses!!

Did you check your passport status through ustraveldocs.com? I checked my passport status about 1500 and it changed to "origination scan." Anyway, I had my interview on May 22, 2013.

I checked through ustraveldocs.com for my passport status. When it's ready for pick-up at CITIC Bank, the status should change to "ready for pick up."

My visa got approved on May 22, 2013. I'm also still waiting for my passport with visa in it. The passport tracking is still showing "Your passport is still with post" and CEAC visa status is "Issued." Does anyone know how long usually the processing time from approval to visa in hand? Thanks!!

I already rescheduled an immigrant visa interview for May 22 through ustraveldocs.com on May 14. I got the approval confirmation letter also. Then someone from U.S. Consulate Guangzhou called me through phone yesterday to come for interview on May 24. I forgot to mention to the person about I have rescheduled my interview through the website for May 22. I am confused about which date I should go for my interview? May 22 or May 24? I would like to call the immigrant visa unit to confirm but I cannot find the phone number in the website. Thanks.

I will have my medical examination soon in Shanghai. I would like to know what kind of forms I should provide? Does the panel physician has the forms and the instructions?
