  1. No - they will simply transcribe the shots from the yellow book on to the vaccination supplement - it's actually the I-693A - and put one copy in a sealed envelope, and give you a separate copy. The CS will have the forms. Thank you. Called around on Friday and got prices of $200 for complete medical which I disputed and then they lowered to $75 (unless, as Surgeon General said, my Fang needs other vaccinations). I was amazed at how quickly they want to push for full medical! Thanks for the heads up! Where can you take the shots....?....any hospital?....my wife just came here on K3 and she didn't take any shots in china.....i work in the hospital and i've adder her name to my insurance...wondering if she can take the shot at the hospital where i work and have it transfer to the 693a form.....any help appreciated..thanks...and i've heard that those shots affect pregancy..is it true?..thanks again.. what are the shots needed for immigrant?....i andy
  2. thanks guys unfortunately, my wife doesn't have a record of it....she got some shot i think when she was born....she told me there are several scars on her arm resulting from those shots....and there are 11 of them for the AOS requirement....isn't that too much?......not all of them needs to be given rite?....does she need to go see an assigned CS?....or just any family doctor....she's already included in my medical insurance...and i plan to have our physican give her all the necessary shots and have the CS sign it for the I-693a.....is it ok?...... She's from shanghai........anybody know which hospital she can take the shots there if it's cheap in china...?.....thank you
  3. I know it's relatively a lot cheaper to have it done in china....my question is since those vacinnation is or should be covered under my insurance ( i have added her name to my insurance) at the hospital i work for.....i should have her get it done here and then take the result to the US. civil surgeon.....CAn i do that?.....or it has to be been at the assigned us civil surgeon ( which is probably a few hundred) if it's not done in china?... thanks...
  4. Hi, guys... for vaccination?.....is it better done in china or should i have my wife done here in the u.s?....Does it need to to be done EXACTLY in those clinics that are assigned by the USCiC..or can it be done at any hospital i am planning to have my wife get it done in the hospital that i work for since it's gonna be covered by my insurance....what do you guys think.....what's the correct way to get it done?.....is I-693 (MEDICAL REPORT FORM) needed to be filled out for AOS?.....i know my wife doesn't keep a copy of the medical report when it was done for the interview....the cosulate took it........Does anybody know what's in the brown packet that you get from the consulate when your spouse passed the interview?.....Do they put the medical report inside?.....anyway....just want to figure out how to file for AOS properly when my wife gets here....any help will be appreciated......AND THE X_ray? do we need to carry back to the u.s?.......thank you guys........ Andy

  6. She was almost dead last. got back to the hotel right at noon. Hey kris...i think i saw your SO at the restaurant in the Citic plaza across from westin hotel...not sure...my wife and i were dinning after we went to the post office to pick up the visa on 9/26...(visa wasn't available ..we had our interview 9/24..and we got nervous)..finally picked it up 9/27....i thought i recognzied your SO's face from CFL..anyway..i might be wrong..and my wife is from shanghai too...congra on the pink.. andy
  7. first of all...millions of thanks to CFL...my wife had a very short and sucessful interview with the help and preparation from CFL....She got pink for k3 on 9/24 and picked up the visa on 9/27 ( 3 days)...we were told to pick it up on 9/26 but then turned out to be not yet available and it got us nervous for a while ..i even went up to the consulate to ask them and they say give it another day..then we got it the next day.....and very happy about it even though we had to change our flight leaving GZ...now i have questions about the validity of k3 i know it's a multiple 2 year visa.....does it mean you can leave china anytime you want within these 2 years or you have to leave and enter uswithin a certain period of time?...my wife has to finish work till the end of this year cos of a contract with a forgein compnay.....and at the end of year she can get her bonus from the company too..so is it ok for her to leave 5 months later....i am assuming that if k3 is good for 2 year ..thne you can leave and enter us within these 2 year period rite?.......and after she enters us...which in about 5 month and that also marks 2 years anniversary for us too....i heard that if you been married for 2 years you can apply for unconditional green card rite..not the 2 year one rite?.....and i also need direction of how to proceed with the AOS after she enters us.....any help and opinion is apprecicated...thank you all again...wonderful wedsite.....and helpful Andy
  8. just curious...if the visa can be sent by mail (possible certified mail) to the beneficiary or it has to be picked up by person?...anyone know?
  9. good luck..obie...go nail the pink......how much is mr. yang's room per/nite regularly......i will be there in sept.....
  10. thanks mike....how long did it take for you guys to pick up the visa after the interview from the china post? two days?did you ever fill out ds-230 part II after the interview?....we are doing k3 too....or ds-230 II is just for cr-1 I-130 only?.....and for the medical report what did you bring to the hospital ?....just the medical forms?...anything else....my SO just paid the NIV fee ..it's 780 ..though...not what they said 830 ...wondering if it has anything to do with the increasing value of the china RMB....thanks...
  11. congrat.........mike and Zhen.....how long did you wait to get the visa picked up?......two days?....our interview date is monday..so if pass we would be able to pick it up on Wedn?.......and what kinda docs did your SO give to the VO ..i mean for them to keep....I-134 and medical report..rite?...anything else that they asked and keep..?.....Did you SO summit all those docs in the p4 before she saw the VO or She gave those to the VO directly when she saw him/she....thanks......just wanna to get heads up...and 8/8 was a really nice dayyyyyy..good for you.....
  12. ur the man Zachary.......5 month....you set the record....go nail it....pink.....if not i will nail it for U.......lol.....congra....
  13. Yeah, she sure is. Busy on the phone with her tonight trying to plan travel. Since we got a Tuesday interview, I'll go to ACH on Monday. Assuming pink, I think we will go over to HK during the 2 day wait for the visa since I've never been there. One other thing I was thinking of earlier, "sent" doesn't mean it has actually left the consulate yet. DOS told me the P3 was "sent" on June 23rd, but it was actually June 27th. The P3 only took 1 day in each direction via EMS, and Jing doesn't have the P4 yet, so I have to wonder if it has even left the building. probably not yet.....but it ll get to her eventually...i wouldn't worry about it too much know that we all have the interview dates set up so that we can plan things ahead...without the interview date it's just impossible to plan things ahead and work with your own work schedule....so anyway...have a trip in hong kong and good luck to both of us at the interview..i ll be leaving for shanghai at 9/17...such a nice city and the food is awsome.....
  14. Kris Jing congrallllllllllllllllllll..for the interview date i just found out the interview date for my wife today...it's 9/24 ..a day before you.....and your timeline is similar to mine more or less..and my wife is from shanghai too....is yours from shanghai?.....anyway....congra.......hope we all get pink..........
  15. Who knows... I thought that they did things chronologically, but the fact that Kris-Jing's P4 was sent out yesterday, and their interview date is 9/25 confuses me big time. Mine was sent out today but interview date is 9/15... wonder how that is... perhaps mine was processed before theirs or something... I don't know. I just found out about my wife's interview date today...it's 9/24....so i don't know how they arrange for interview days...i don't think it's chronoligically..maybe has to do with your last name...and i think think they set up interview dates for a batch of people at the same time....like some people said....they set it at the end of every month....
  16. good luck steve....if they say you are eligible for an interview but no date has been scheduled, does it mean back ground and name check has been completed? now just waiting for a date?.... Andy
  17. how did you get your i-134 notorized?.....did you just fill it out and have a notary public notorize it? what about tax returns...statement from bank and employers etc?....do you need to present those to the notary public to get your i-134 notorized? let me know how you did it..thank you andy
  18. Hi, Did anyone know how to track the status for k3 after it has been forwarded to GZ?.....Should there be a confirmation letter after it has been sent to GZ from NVC for the petitioner?....i haven't received one yet and was told on the phone that the petition has been sent on 4/12/07 to GZ.....what should i do now?....any help, any comment, would be appreciated......
