I feel for you and your finace, hang in there, I think my finace is going to get blue on the 28, because of this CCP thing she belongs to because of her work. I haven't read anthing about your AP blue issues as of yet. Did they ever tell you why you had to wait 32 days in NVC? What was the reson? AP is additional processing. They will not say exactly what it is and they always say there is no time frame for AP. My fianc¨¦ said at interview the person told her everything looked fine with the paperwork but needed AP. We had pics, e-mails ,phone records , letters etc. She is pretty good with her english also ( she helped a few people at the Yangs by doing a little translating for a couple people while she was there) The Yangs and everyone that was staying there said they thought she had a very solid case and they were all shocked as well that she got blue. I've read if your spouse Is CCP she can write a letter about why she is. I think it is something you can overcome but they may put you in AP also. I have read that it is name check sometimes like FBI check's and background check's but it still mostly a mystery

Well my fianc¨¦ had her interview today Dec. 24 and got blue slip. They do not want any additional information and said they need to do the famous AP. One bad sign is they did not take her passport. We already went through that once at NVC stage (spent 32 days at NVC in AP). Anyone have a idea how long till we will know anything? We are both just numb and in shock still.

Yes i agree and they also use your NOA1 date as a priority date. I believe if they have a bunch of them to do they do the ones for the people who have waited the longest unless you are military.

Yes they do and You will probably find out in 2-4 weeks. My fiance mailed her package 3 back Nov 12 and found out interview date today from DOS . We were surprised, we got a December interview , 3 more weeks till interview 3 weeks to go and you haven't received P4 yet? Yikes! they mailed them (package 4) yesterday but i found out interview date from calling DOS today .

My file left NVC on oct. 7 and she just got package 3 on nov. 6 .

Sorry to hear you are in AP. It is frustrating. I was there (filed K-1) in NVC for 34 days because i got put in AP. I got out on Oct. 7. No they will not tell you anything But you can call every day if you want. You can ask for supervisor if you want also Lots of people do. Some are nice some are not so nice. You will not hear anything new from them then 1 day you will call and they will tell you it has been sent to embassy. The average time at NVC in AP is about 1 month. Little hint they will always say there is no time frame for AP but when they tell you to call back in about a week you probably be out within that week.

Yes NVC will send you form with GUZ # on it. It does take a while for embassy to getbut i would call DOS for updates ,they have more up to date info. My I129F left NVC on Oct. 7 also and i called DOS last thurs. and they did say say have received and opened package and will send package 3 in about 2 weeks, but call center for embassy said on friday they have not received yet.

Thank you for everyones thoughts. I really can't go without jeopardizing my job but i would really like to go to support her. We were hoping to use my vacation time for a honeymoon but if i end up having to go there i will. It could work out just fine i am just worried like most people. We already had one setback by getting put in AP for 34 days at NVC so i just want everything else to go as smooth as possible.

We do not have our interview date yet but i am wondering how important is it for me to go to her interview. I do not have any vacation time till march and we are thinking we may get interview maybe in january. They just sent her package 3 a few days ago. We filed a K-1 visa. I have been there 2 times this year and we have tons of e-mails and pictures and phone bills. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks {edit} Corrected topic title.

yes it is too early to tell but it looks like you are way ahead of most people by how fast you got your NOA2. A lot of people with NOA1 in april and may do not have interview date yet. I got NOA2 on aug. 26 and still no package 3 yet.
