I am going way out on a wish me limb..... My SO got the P3 papers on July 26th, and flipped them right back out on July 27, and we traced the EMS to White Swan and it arrived July29... Now, that was sunday, and IF the consulate was not too busy and wanted to clear all paper work for July, just maybe they got that package and will process it on July 30 or 31.... Giving me a Aug P4, and a September interview date.... haha... wishful thinking I bet.. >L

Who knows... I thought that they did things chronologically, but the fact that Kris-Jing's P4 was sent out yesterday, and their interview date is 9/25 confuses me big time. Mine was sent out today but interview date is 9/15... wonder how that is... perhaps mine was processed before theirs or something... I don't know. B) They have usually assigned interview dates in inverse order - when they begin assigning dates for a month, the dates are assigned from the end of the month forward. The last dates assigned - at the beginning of the month - occasionally have had as little as 2 weeks notice. Raises Hand !!!!!! I will take the 2 week notice ... Thanks for the info... in all my reading I had not caught that tidbit about the order of interview dates. >L

Congrats !!!! Nice timeline... We are running about 30 days apart.... I guess that means a Oct 30th interview date there about for my SO.... Darn I was hoping for a Sept date... >L

You just cannot tell how these petitions will move in GUZ. DOS said not entered in the computer as hard copy recieved, so no P3... however, 4 days later, there was P3 in my SO hands. Good luck and hopefully soon for you and all others in the waiting process. >L

Just so you know, there was one couple that got pink in the interview, and then was handed a blue slip at the post office... that was just wrong for the consulate to do that. I dont remember what they had to do to resolve the blue and get the visa... However on the positive side, yes, I have seen others post that the visa was delays some extra days. I think one was even 7 days, but they got the visa. >L

I have seen people mention the touch factor as well during P3 and P4 events... you go to http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis on the right is case is pending .. then the next page then right in the middle is Processing Times and Case Status .... then you have to setup a profile with a login and password... you want to use CUSTOMER in the drop down box. A touch is a date change. It is the only way you know a touch occurred. Like my case was transfered to CA from MO, and it was only touched for the transfer, but the date changed each time it was handled. >L

I have seen some people post that they got a touch from a P3 or maybe a P4 to the SO... My case status is still May 16 for the approval date. Not even NVC sending the case to GUZ created a change in date. Did anyone else notice this, or get a change? >L

Hey, I had sent of169 and ds230 to my Lao Po to sent the day DOS say P3 was on the way. I guess they know this is happening, and just send P3 before entering the info to the computer so DOS can see it. Never the less, my SO said she would not have sent the pre-done P3 papers until the P3 arrived from GUZ. All worked out as it should. My SO got P3 8 days before I even had it calculated she would get it. That was a nice surprise. She was teasing me on webcam about the P3... She saids... " you want me to show you something? "" " you want to see" ...... well, see.. she was dressed in a sexy night grown and I was thinking of something else of course.... I think P3 actually made me more excited. >L

Houston, do you have a problem? ( sorry, just had to do that ) but really, your SO must have a really popular name. That can cause a long name check process. If not that, I guess you are in the norm still on time for P3 > P4.... Some have managed to get P4 in 14 days from a P3 send in... rare however for that. >L

only these 2 forms in P3 or I am short some papers that the SO sent to GUZ yesterday. One thing to note.. if you have a child to follow, and that child is 16 or older, you have to have a DS 230 part 1 for them. My Lao po however insisted to send one for her son which he is only 12, but I said sure, it cant hurt... >L

P4 info > The barcode form DS156 is here https://evisaforms.state.gov/ds156.asp you can enter all the info and print it, and get the barcoding. The telegraph code is not on GIV24 anymore it seems. >L

Just returned P3 yesterday. Seems to me that GUZ is on top of things these last 7 months. I hope one day in the future that all petitions are processed in at least 8 months, and really 6 months would be great for people. We started in Feb, and hope for a Sept 15th interview. That would be about 7 months. Good luck to you all, >L

We just did P3 today. There is NOT a form with a barcode on any forms returning to GUZ in P3.. That is P4 that has the barcode form. >L

Guess I better update my status... Filed Feb 22 for K3 129F... P3 July 26th.... returned July 27th... ( like just now in China ) For anyone calling DOS to ask about P3.. I called last Friday and was told GUZ does not show to have entered the petition in the computer. SO indicates that P3 was EMS mailed July 24th... >L

Hey scooby... congrats, and throw us a timeline to gauge some future others are waiting on P3 and P4.. >L

Well, I am excited today. Lao Po got the P3... I had called DOS last friday and the usual answer that the petition was not in the system. HOWEVER !!!! today my Lao Po is holding the EMS GUZ package with the P3 papers... I had already sent her the P3 papers so she could advance the papers to GUZ before the EMS arrived, but today she just filling out the papers that GUZ sent and will return in the morning EMS. Turns out that my Lao Po would not advance send the papers anyway. She was not confident enough to just send papers without getting the P3 package from GUZ... all is well with her way. >L
