4. I think I should have added this to get a better response as well My job I currently have this year has all ready provided me with more income than i show for last year as well I will far exceed the required amount with this job will this be considered as well
5. This is my question .If a person's income is low enough that a co sponsor is used. But the co sponsor meet's or exceed's the amount required. How often are visa's denied and on this, and what ground's would the V.o use for this denial and how could you over come it .I am very concerned about this but my co sponsor does exceed the amount asked for with assest's as well Thank you for any response and a little reasurrance would help me out
6. can some one help me with some good link's to see what the employer should write or some example's of and does it have to be notorized
7. how or what do I put .I guess Iam asking what do they want on this .How specific ?
8. I would like to know if a child can be added to a k1 after the p3 is in the guz computer and before the interview
9. thank you I will read this she is only 10 year's old and has lived in the same home with my fiance for more than 2 years thank all of you for your advice . it would have been nice if she would have approached me about this sooner I even when i was there in december expressed to her with out her asking me that If her niece wanted to be with us we could do this
10. For the little girl to come anytime soon, the adoption must first occur. I have no idea whether this can be accomplished before the interview. If not, it would be good to accomplish it before your SO leaves China. I would Check with GUZ Speaks for how to add a child this late in the process. Normally the child's name would already have been listed on the I-129F and the P3 papers. 228921 thank you for your quick reply my fiance seem's to think it would be easy for her to do the adoption even if the child did not come with her now when we go back the first time she could come then the little girl lives in the same home with her I just do not know if it would be a problem it seem's to add her as a benificary on a I-134 and maybe another form ??
11. this is my question .... can my fiance adopt her 10 year old neice and the niece be approved to come here either when she does or after we marry She seem's to think it would be easy for her to adopt the child would the u.s goverment have a issue with this if i did a I-134 what would it matter ? any one have similar experience I have meet the niece on 3 different occasion's and the niece live's in the home with my fiance I even have pic's with me and the niece my fiance as well care's for the niece taking her to school and doing things for her I hope this give's enough info
12. well if she adopt's her niece before she get's her visa can she be added? or if she adopt's once we marry would little girl be able to come here to america soon after we marry? I know no one her is a immigration attorney But just curious and i never took the time to think of this before as we went and did thing;s together and the little girl was with us often .I do kinda feel the little girl will not get the attention she is getting now when my fiance moves here and beside's i like kid's very much
13. WELL NOW AFTER THREE TRIP'S TO CHINA AND A YEAR AND A HALF ON KNWOING EACH OTHERE .MY FIANCE ASK ME IF SHE CAN BRING HER NIECE > i DO NOT MIND i LIKE THE LITTLE GIRL SHE IS 10 YEAR'S OLD aND HAVE SPENT MUCH TIME WITH HER TO .mY FIANCE CARE'S FOR THE girl and not just emotionally but care's her to school help's her with her studie's etc .I sthere away to add the little girl as a benificary or would i need to adopt her or can my fiance adopt her there and then she added to the fiance visa or I do not know this was sprung on me today 6 week's before her interview . She would like for her to come but it does not effect her in coming the brother of my fiance has a son to and does not pay alot of attention to the little girl any help or suggestions would be appreciated
14. I've tried to find a definitive reference, but the search gremlins are winning today. I believe that a separate DS-230, Part I, is needed for both the K-1 applicant and the K-2 applicant. Perhaps the missing document is the K-2's DS-230. Isn't this a fun process!!!! 227545 On the DS-230 it says: "complete one copy of this form for yourself and each member of your family, regardless of age, who will immigrate with you." So one for each visa applicant. This makes sense since at the petition point, some could be derivative status (K2 &K4) and some not (CR2).. but at this point, everyone has to fill out a visa application. 227580 Thanks, David You are right. I see it now. I didn't have the form magnified enough on the screen to read the fine print. I hope to be able to chat with Manyun in about 3 hours, if she is back in Nanning. Mike 227583 Hey micheal i had a similar problem with a friend as well of my fiance .She was all way's right in her mind and after she caused a few problems with thing's and after my so was more familar with english and seeing these thing's decided the friend was not as competent as she thought .Now we decide thing's together as much as can be expected with a chinese fiance and her family but we now talk of thing's before i or her make any decision's that would effect both of us . This is a challenge that i am glad i have over come .and some time's parent's are right in what they say but now if parent's are involved we discuss thing's more together this is a big hurdle i feel i have over come in my relationship
15. My question is this if you go the co sponsor way When doing a affidavit for a fiance petition . Does your information really matter or is it of the co sponsor or do they look at them in a combined way .I am doing or wanting to do a co sponsor way to insure they will not turn me down for the support part of the interview i am over the guide line's but not to much so i want to do this .
16. To all that got interview date's congradualtion's I did not want to leave any one out. It is a relief to finally have a date for me and my fiance and i figure all can relate to me on this . Sooner than I thought but much welcomes new's Now to do all i have to do before the interview and all in the short time after to get her here.
17. OCTOBER 20 2005 ... IT WAS CALIFORNIA ... BUT I LIVE IN TEXAS i HAVE SO MUCH TO DO
18. i CAN NOT BELIVE IT i CALLED DOS TO DAY AND THEY TOLD ME .... INTERVIEW DATE AUGUST 17 P4 SENT TO DAY ..... I AM SO HAPPY AND WORRIED AND TO MUCH TO DO WOW DID NOT THINK IT WOULD BE SET SO SOON ...... I AM FREAKING OUT SO LONG AND NOW SO SHORT .... WHAT DO I DO NOW
19. There's no equivalent request for spousal petitions... the approval is based on different criteria. I do think that for K1s, it's worthwhile to consider for the petition... Our dataset is too small to truly know the impact, but every K1 I know who did this had an incredibly easy interview. For spousal applicants, you could include one for the interview as Mike said.. I would say that it is a valid form of proof of an ongoing relationship... But it's a toss up if the VO will read it (I've never heard of a VO asking for such a letter at an interview--but similar requests are done for overcome)... 226513 It look's as though my post was a little confusing.I initially when i applied for the k1 did the letter of intent to marry as well as my fiance. But I was under the impression it is good to have a updated one for the interview day.As well The evolution of the relationship I was implying to send a document to show relationship up to interview date a summarry of time spent on trips and so forth to have this prepared if it was asked for so yes i was talking of 2 different document's sorry for the confusion as well as my travel document's I was wanting to put all of this in a folder to be given to the v.o if any of these thing's where asked for i think they would some what tie together ..... Maybe my thought's on this are not with proper knwledge but just trying to head off any possible problems before thery would happen with our case
20. Thank you all for your advice. I see there is more than one way to do this . I belive in making a offical document to provide is good as well as a statement of who what when and where I belive this would be more the evolution of relationship .And keeping it simple but complete is a good idea I belive i will make one of each with my supporting document's of passport and flight reciept's And put it into a folder with a nice cover page......Beside's all I have to do now is wait so might as well put my time to good use it might be over kill .But at least it will be complete and professional. Any one else with advice please let me know .I figure the V.O SEE'S SO MANY OF THESE WHEN HE SEE'S ONE WITH ALL MATERIAL LAID OUT IN A EASY TO FIND AND PROFESSIONAL manner HE IS PROBALLY MORE INCLINED TO PASS IT
21. Your passport or notarized copy along with your boarding passes and payment receipts for tickets is sufficient proof you were in China and that you paid for the airline tickets. You are not required to stay in a hotel. 226313 Thank's for the help it is appreciated ...... I still am wondering about this evolution of relationship should I take the time and do this ? 226342 You took the time to post and ask about it, take 5 minutes more and do it.. 226383 WELL THANK'S MIKE BUT COULD YOU GIVE ME A LITTLE CONSTRUCTIVE CREDISISIM..... I WANT IT TO BE RIGHT WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD SAY ..... WE MEET HERE AND I WENT THERE AND NOW WE ARE HERE ... WHAT DO YOU THINK ....

23. Hello to all...... I would like to see if any one can direct me to link's that show a example of a intent to marry document.... what they would want in a evolution of relationship document if needed What is the best way to show proof of your trip's to china i mean othere than a copy of your passport I know to have my flight stubbs etc .... but what is a good way to present it to the vo and one more thing all of my trip's to nanning I stayed at my fiance's sister's apartment should i get a letter from her stating i stayed there sense i can not provide reciept's from hotel stay ....
24. Just my 2 cent's ..... I have been teaching and been around chinese kung fu for over 20 year's and these same thing's happen there Norht kung fu is better than south and visa versa .The 2 group's even have different view point's on what is better to use foot or hand .I have heard so many different view ponit's on the why and it is primarily the difference in the region and for that matter kung fu is regional and even in the south or north one kung fu is better because of where it is from .And because i teach both north and south i can not mention the othere in front of the othere .....It seem's to me north people and taiwan people say south people and hong kong people are not as good because they are not as educated and not as civilized as they and south people and hong kong people feel nrth people and taiwan people are to materalistic and driven toward goal attainment instead of simple life .... just my observation .... personally i like the value structure of the south people and attitude better just dont tell my Bei Si fu he will be unhappy and my Nan Shi Fu will maybe get a big head ... I was told this once from a sifu from the north .... south people are close minded and not say what they mean because of the mountains around them but north people are open minded and straight forward in talk : like the open land's in the north what do you say to that .... yes Si Fu one more thing i do not think it is racist at all even though some time's i get offended i think it is a competitive thing with the chinese people there are 56 different individual group's and all want to show there individualality and as it relates to the japanese i made a big mistake i aske3d to go to a japanese resturant when i was in nanning this we did but i have yet to live it down it is you like japanese woman you like japanese I was very insensitive to a sensitive issue wiht my fiance's family the rape of nanjing was only a short time ago less than 60 year's ago and i have read this now and see why the animosity I love sushi and sashimi and all that it has but i was even given a meal of chinese style sushi and i can live with it and enjoy this was given to me the next day i felt like a total creep ....how about this one a si fu told me a chinese emperor sent 5000 thousand chinese virgin men and 5000 virgin women to a island and they become unrully and now they are japanese
