I wonder if you looked at these websites before you posted them. They really made me sick. I doubt if you can really find a pure girl on this kind of the websites...Most of them are looking for someone to help them get out of China. shame

Dave, I just read those old posts by you and Sarah. From what I know from those posts, I think Sarah is a nice woman.
I still suggest you to try every possible way to catch Sarah and talk to her one more time.
I think you still love her and don't want to lose her. Maybe she is the same. If she goes back to China, it may be another long long waiting to get her in US again...

As Dave wrote in his posts It was Sarah left him and didn't give him another chance to try together. It is not Dave's fault. I believe how Dave's feeling that she wont come back again if she left like this. If she does love him then she should keep staying with him and try to fix the problem. I wish she is not another person who uses someone's love and kindness and move underground in the U.S. again
I will say the same to Dave as Mick did. be sure to take care of yourself and love yourself. I do understand how much you got hurt right now. But please stay in light. your experiences will make you be a stronger person...

Well in China. Young ladies do go out with old man around 50 -60. But most of them dont have true love. these guys are rich and have a lot power in the govenment or company.
I believe C.C. didn't mean anything bad. But it is true that we have seen too many young people who stay with old man only because they love money....

Look at Sean Connery, the actor. He is probably approaching 70 but still one of the sexist male star. Age shouldn't be a factor. If a person stays fit, he can look and act very young.

You need a GSM cell phone ( 1800 MHz frequency ).
My Husband sent me this Nokia 3650 ( 1800 MHz Frequency ) But it stil didn't work with the Chinese SIM card. American cell phone company locked it. Only my friend return from Germany can use her cell phone with China SIM.

I don't think it would be easy for her to come back to USA after returning to China (within 90th day). Do you mean that she apply for another K1 or K3 visa in the future? To do that, she has to find a petitioner again (a lover).
I didn;t mean about K-1 or K-3 visa at all. she sounds like she is still young if she really wants to get a better life and then she is the one who should try hard. She can either study and take TOFEL and apply a school here. No one should day-dream to get something easily from another person...

in all fairness, I do not think anyone was unsympathetic to her. I am sure we all feel sadness for her, if her plight is real and if we assume all of the facts stated are true and accurate. Thats a huge assumption.
The debate centered around whether she should stay or go home. Some of the advice proffered was manifestly silly, but well-intentioned. The fact remains that we all suffer because of people having tried to gimmick the system before and I was appalled by how readily some members were willing to offer advice about gimmicks, sleight of hand, unmeritorious lawsuits,marriage without love, etc.
We should have all simply said DO THE RIGHT THING and left it at that. I am certain we all wish her well in China.
I agree with you. I am a Chinese woman and I dont want to see any chinese woman suffer here in America.
The only right thing is go back to CHina and stay well. If she does want to come to America. She can always do it after she return to China. But if she will be caught by govenemtn after 90days then everyting will be changed

it is Chinese employees that have been doing the interviewing.
Tell me, what is wrong with this picture?? I find it absurd that it is Chinese employees working at the Embassy who are making these decisions concerning American's and their families. It is an American Embassy, so why aren't the American's making the decisions?

Well as my experence there are some Chinese employees in the Amercian Embassy. But they only collect files before you have your interview with the Amercian officer. Again how you can tell the chinese officer you saw is not Amercian citizen? only from his chinese blood? When we went to INS here all the officers in that buildings are either Mexcian or Black. So can you say that they are not Amercian or they can't make the decision?

The reason why I remember 9.18:
#1. I have to remember it, so I will not see this happen again in human history.
#2. The Chinese has never got an apology from the Japanese government.
#3. The Japanese government is trying to deny the fact that they have committed serious war crimes during the WWII in China. And they are trying to wipe the memories, so they could start something "New".
#4. The Japanese worship the criminals during the war. They worship the very people who have slaughtered tens of thousands Chinese civilians, with the most cruel way in human history.
#5. Not enough people know about the history how the Japanese treated the Chinese during WWII.
Until the Japanese government can face the truth, and face the history there will be no normal relationship between the Chinese and the Japanese. ?I don't hate the Japanese. I hate the ones that slaughtered the Chinese, and the ones who still worship them.
Just look at what the Japanese is trying to do lately, you will find that they are very unease again. ?"Pearl Harbor" is a perfect Ninja Style attack. And if we stop keeping close eye on them, they will strike again.

Need to know something (hoping for a quick turnaround here, please since we're going to go soon, in like an hour).
Those certificates we need, what is the expiration time on them? I believe birth certificates don't expire, and we (think) police certificates expire in one year, but are not sure. What about the single certificate?

I know that police certificate expire in one year. So you should not do it too early. Start all these certificates until you fill our the form and apply K visa. Well for my experence I got police certificate after i received Packet 3. You only need it when you go toyour interview. So since the namecheck might take so long it is better to do it later

It seems to me if a man does this he must have some evil intentions to get back at her. I am not saying what he did is right I feel we don't know the whole story. It also seems to me that she is trying to find a way to stay in the USA how she can stay in the USA. Just so happen a post on the 19 there was a post you guys should it.

i AGREE with you gigibebe. i amsorry to hear this story but the most i can see from her words is how she wants to stay in the U.S by herself. I can't imagine someone has got hurt by an Amercian here but still wants to try her best to stay in this Country

I wish Chinese can be more "zi zun"on this sitiation. And again if it was me Of Couse I will buy my return Ticket with my Own money. Why i need to use someone else's money like that?

I am really sorry to hear that but i dont think it will be the good idea you try to stay here with K visa. The best way to do is return to your homeland -China.
It is not wise to think the reason why you dont want to go back to your homeland is because you had said good-bye to them. If your ONLY purpose to come to the U.S is for your fiance then there is no other reason if you stil want to stay in a foreign coutry.
I believe there is no place will be better than your home and have your loved ones and freinds around you. Since your finace refused to build your own home here and stay together. For your safety and your futuer you really should go back home...
Again are you thinking of you will never go back to China and see your relations again?

Every country's govenment will stay in their people's side and make their policies and practices for their own country. I support the decision which is made by Chinese govenment. China still need few years to get strong enough and then their market can be more opened and RMB will rise one day. Our own govenment is the only govenment who will really care and help chinese people in this world. So does each country's govenment. So we should understand each other's policies better.
there is a news about how China govenment wanted to use Japanese technology to build their fast train from Beijin to Shanghai. But a lot chinese people disagree it and make goverment rethink about it and cancled the meeting to japanese officers. I understand the reason why chinese acted so strong at this subjuct and it will be more proud if Chinese can build it by themselves.
I can't agree that the best way to do is forgetting your past or forget your history. We can never be better if we dont have lessons from our past and our old generation. If the new japanese generations can not accept this part of history then how they will treat China and other Asia coutries better and respect others more?

I am really sorry to hear that too. but there is one thing i dont understand. How office in the interview judge your relationship is strong or not from your language. how about if you tell them my amercian husband speak Chinese so well and we speak Chinese all the time.
in my interview the office asked me in Chinese and he seems he doesn;t care if i speak English or Chinese at all. and also when i asked if you would like to see our photos or not and he said I dont need to and I trust you. and that is it.
It is really confusing about the way how they say yes or no to you. I wish all of you good luck in the interview and dont be nervious

you need to prove you are single. so you need to get a print out from your local county registrar showing your marriage history for the last 10 years. also any divorce papers if you have. then with that you need to have it notarized by you govenors office. they should know about it when you ask. then after that take it to a chinese emabassy closest to you and have them translate it. voila. your proof your not married. its a pain , i know.

Yes P.J. You must change your travel visa to a working visa. Most companies will help you to change your visa. But also it is not that easy to get marry in CHina. You need some specail files and My husband is going to tell you more details about it .Good luck
