They said the interview was just waiting to be scheduled. Was just wondering if the namecheck was for my so or myself in DC, or if it was just some attempt at an explanation for no interview yet.

Just called DOS. Interview still waiting to be scheduled. Told me there was a Washington DC security clearance which may have delayed this process. Is this just BS or is it something new or something that is not usual.

Can we tell yet if they are scheduling more interviews after the move date on a per day or per week basis than they did before?

I don't think we have enough people or data to know this yet.

 

The hope is that in the new building, they have more room, and so can process more per day.

 

But I would also think if they are wise, they would ramp up slowly to test what their real capacity is.

 

I am sure each day, there is a flow patern of people, from one place to another, as they walk in, hand in papers, get finger prints, interviews, etc. ...

 

they will need to "learn" what this new flow pattern will be at the new place. make sure there aren't 200 people trying to stand in one place that can only hold 50 people, etc.

 

There is also the limitation of how many visa officers they can have working, and maybe some will be on vacation in August and Sept.

Can i go ahead and use the cfl forms on the cfl site instead of waiting for the forms from the actual P4? Do any of the medical forms need to be filled out before hand such as name, etc.

 

I havent really looked at them very thoroughly yet, but sure would like to get ahead of them.

I called DOS yesterday and they do not have an interview date scheduled yet.

[Documents VO sees]

I am wondering what the VO sees before the SO gives the afridavit and of support and the photos and telephone, email logs, etc. I had an attorney help me with the I 129 and now that I'm waiting for the P4 I wonder if I should put a few more pictures in the original documents sent if these documents are the first thing that the VO looks at to decide to grant the petition.

 

After reading these posts I'm wondering if I have enough stuff for the first impression.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed but need clarification. P4 is lengthy and most forms are in English and Chinese. Which forms must be filled in English and Chinese, which in just English? Also is supplemental form 157 required.

Just want to clarify-

The affadavid of support goes with my so to the medical exam, and the supporting evidence, pictures, phone logs, etc. does not go there. Instead my so takes it with her to the interview?
