Ye Gods, Amanda - that's great news !!! Real Soon Now (RSN) that P4 packet should be headed your way.
Thanks a lot. Without your help, Husband and I would not know how to start paper work and which kind of visa would be better. As a matter of fact, husband and I are so happy to have chosen the right type visa. Even right now, I can remember that you told us CR1 has become quickly. You are absolutely correct!

Hey Ron - ya - the 'fast time' is now due to the 'electronic processing at NVC', started mid april of this year. Near as I can tell, there is NO PHYSICAL CASE FILE sent off from NVC to GUZ via DHL.
We have been waiting for nearly one year since my husband filed CR1+CR2 in July, 2008. So far no interview date let alone P4.
I would like to guess with this "electronic processing at NVC", future more people will choose CR1 instead of K1 because of its speedy processing. On 001, some people showed their processing time was 6 months after P1. I feel very frustrated through comparing with their timeline.

Hey do not fear,i made to Guz in one piece, yes the health officials came onboard the plane dressed in white suits, took everybodies tempature, one little boy had a high temp, and i thought oh great ,here i am stuck in Guz under quarnintine, but no,we got off the plane ok. Wife and I have been busy.I went to the ACH on monday,I got to talk to a very pleasant white male in his 30"s,no holds bar,he let me say what was on my mind,i asked a bunch of questions, obviuosly ones that maybe were red flags from our previous k3,and explained this and that, told him i had documents,to support my claims etc..etc...etc,and he typed it all in computer......one thing i will say...to verify what others have been saying on here,he asked many questions about how we communicated(because i asked if wife could have interview in chinese.....he said absolutely no problem)but yes, many questions how we two communicate......so I will now have to agree, yes this is now a big issue in GUZ,he was delighted to hear my wife was going to English School.anyway the wife just went to get some food,we are going to pick up her medical stuff today.I will write after she has her interview.
Jimi
This time you will have no problem. Best wishes to you thinking pink

"The Family was all there to meet her with a couple bouquets of flowers and taking photos. Ting was very excited and the kids instantly hugged her and said welcome home mommy!"
How wonderful! Can't wait to see more photos ...

Thank you of all!
We got much help from CFL amd even before we met in person for the first time last year.
Time goes quickly and we are sure that we will get together soon.
NVC sent my case and my son's (CR1+CR2)on March 24, 2009 and according to www.dhl.com my packages were picked up on May 05.
I am not sure when GUZ will give me P4 but sooner or later, right?

I miss the instant coffee from 7-11 over there- NOT
When my husband was in China, he missed American breakfast and coffee, but not instant coffee.
I should take him to a massage when he returns China again.

Have fun and keep us up dated.

Ok as far as my questions went ACH is a waist of time.
We got there out side the famous expensive coffee joint at 1:15pm and waited on the 4th floor at 1:28pm Ting asked if I had the P3 and the case number, I had everything but that. So Ting ran out to go get it and about 2 minutes after she went to get it they started letting people in. It was also at this time I realized I just sent the slowest woman in China to hurry up and get the papers. She made me eat those words this time as she was back in 5 minutes flat, I was very impressed.
Went through another check point airport style where they take your cell phone and camera if you have one etc...
Once through that I was directed buy a guard to a room with what seemed to be about a dozen stainless steal bank teller windows separated by a very small partition. We were all lined up in front of window 19. At 2:05pm an Asian lady 25 ish with glasses started asking why you were here etc. She gave you a form to fill out basically wanting to know who you were, who the person was your applying for, what is your GUZ case number, what is your SO's birth date and name. Then in detail write down your question. Then at 2:30 almost all the windows open up and start calling numbers in no sequential order what so ever. I was called to window 30 by a guy about my age 39 ish. He was a white male no glasses in a suit shirt with a tie. He had light brown and white hair with blue eyes.
I asked him my two questions but he seemed more interested in saying to me that he would put down I was here. He didn't really answer my questions either, I was not impressed. He put down in the computer my concerns and that was that. I felt it was a waist of time.
As an AC, you have right to get all of the answers to your questions. Did you insist on£¿ At least, they knew you were there.

I doubt it has as much to do with cultural differences as it does with gender. Girls wil be girls.
Girls tend to be flexible.

OK I put captions with the photos now.
And I ate ALLL THE DUMPLINGS muahahaha
I woke her and told her I had food and she seemed interested for a minute and asked me what the time was. I told her 6:30 am, there was a short pause and a quick "no thank you" LOL I asked her when she wanted up, "no earlier then 8am". So I guess I will try this again in a couple hours LOL
Keep Rich in line Amanda! but I have the feeling that is probably the other way around LOL
ha ha ha, I waited for Richard to wake up in the morning when we got together last year but he waited for me to wake up in the day time because I took nap then, and he even took photos when I took nap.
I will take your advice, lol B)

Hello Robert and Ting
We're all pulling for you both, report back as you can...I think we're going to stay at that hotel also, sounds like a good place.
Enjoyed the pics. Post them when you can. Good luck and stay focused.

Getting up early to go buy breakfast before she wakes up.
She will be very happy about that.
Good luck and keep us updated about the ACH.

I am not sure if I can ask this question in this part of the forum . . .
Is it possible to reschedule an interview? Looking at the timelines, if she gets it for Nov or Dec and she can not make it, can she reschedule for Jan or Feb?
Thanks
She can dalay to mail her P3 and in this way she will reschedule the interview.
I am just wondering how long it takes from sending out P3 till P4 to use as a guide.
Please go to CFL members timeline and you will know.
