Any interviews set for next month??

We're on for November 10th. Our flights arrive, in Guangzhou, on November 8.

I'm a nervous wreck, regardless of what I may have said, to the contrary! :cheering:

I know what you mean, I had the nervous jitters too when interviewing, my wife on the other hand was like an army soldier when it came to dealing with everything in Guangzhou. Maybe because she was a sergeant in the PLA. :cheering:

I called NVC and i have a interview date of Nov 30. It falls on a Monday. How important is ACH or is ACS just as good. I will need to

notorize my AFFIDAVIT DESCRIBING RELATIONSHIP.

The importance of attending ACH has been debated on this site. Personally, I feel that it is worth going to. A lot of folks went there just for the sake of "documenting" their attendance, which I tend to agree with others, is pointless.

However, if you have genuine questions, then it is an opportunity to ask them. I would highly recommend you taking a look at some of the time line result postings. There are more than a few that went to ACH who were glad they did. A few names come to mind, but I'll leave it to them to say their piece. Those that I'm thinking about, they and their spouses or finances actually had the same VO! I can only hope that Jingjing and I are as fortunate.

The attorney who is helping us through the process suggested that I attend, because it's an opportunity to ask clever questions which may help disarm any potential red flag issues before your woman goes to her interview. It's also an opportunity for them to look over your paperwork. Just my opinion. ACH does take notes during the process. Again refer to the timeline results for more information.

Going to ACS will likewise document your attendance, if that is your main concern. If you do go to ACH, make sure you ask questions which are pertinent, as GUZ has already mentioned on this site to quit wasting their time by attending ACH with no other purpose than to show that you were in GUZ at the time of your fiance/spouse's interview.

I searched for "attending ACH" and several results popped up. I'm sure you can find more. Good luck during your upcoming interview!

I would agree with KJJ.

We had a couple of questions regarding our paperwork and I went to ACH and asked them and I was told how to address them. They took time to understand what I was saying and guided me thru it. They were very professional.

My fiancee had a different VO then the one I spoke with.

You do not need to go to ACH to show you are there as your SO can take your passport to the interview. Serves the same purpose.

Feel free to PM me if you would like to ask me something.

I can not say this enough... It is more important for you to be there then to go to ACS or ACH.

We're on the 25th 7:15 AM. Looks like my wife and I are going to get to meet some of you. We're going to try to be down in GUZ-land around the weekend before. I hope we can hang out a little. I can't believe we have an interview in less than three months from submitting our I-130. I know what I'm thankful for this year.
