anyone interviewed in December?

Hi,

 

Anyone interviewed in December and still don't have the visa yet? I called DOS and was told that the namecheck was submitted one day before the interview.

 

Anyone has similiare experience?

Our interview was December 23rd and when I called DOS on January 8th I was told my fiance and her son were resubmitted on January 4th. No news on being cleared yet.

obviously, the "will be cleared in two weeks" promise is nothing but a promise.

My fiance's namecheck was first submitted in mid Sept 2002, then again Jan 4. Interview date was Dec 3, 2002. I called DOS today and was told "still pending".

My fiancee was interviewed 12/05/2002

 

Her name-check was submitted on 12/02/02 and again on 01/04/2003. On 01/17/03, the DOS informed me that her namecheck had been cleared and submitted to Guangzhou on 01/14/03, within two weeks as they had promised!

 

Not wanting to get too excited and then disappointed, I called the DOS again this morning and a different officer confirmed the information above.

 

Now we are anxiously waiting for the EMS letter so my fiancee can pick up her visa. I have made flight reservations to China but will not book them until she has her visa in hand.

 

I hope that all of you who are waiting can soon get some good news very soon!

My fiancee's interview was on 12/11, and I was told a re-submit occurred on 1/4. Still waiting. I will call DoS tomorrow to check. Lines were extremely busy today and I could not get through. Probably due to MLK Day yesterday.

it's impossible to get through the line today. They will only take calls for an hour on Wednesday.

My husband had his interview in Cuba on 12/11/02 and as per DOS name check was submitted on 12/11/02. I called today and still pending

Fiancee's Name Check submitted: Dec. 18

Interview: Dec. 23

Status: I was told to give the name check at least 30 days from the date of the interview to clear.

Soooooo...Still waiting

Are you the one on CPTracker.com that had an interview on 12-30-2002...I am looking for that guy to see how he got the interview so soon

Any news for people interviewed in December? Could anyone say for sure that GZ will send a namecheck request around the time of the interview?

My finacee had her interview on 12/30/02. I was getting mixed answers from DOS, some say her info. were submitted on 12/30/02, the date of her interview. Then yesterday I called again, they said it was submitted in October and was not re-submitted..... It's really confusing. I asked the rep. if her info. needs to be re-submitted, she said it's not necessary. I am going to call again to confirm this. If anyone has suggestions let me know.
