MRMC
My fiance has a 7 year-old daughter who will accompany her to the interview. She speaks english and of course chinese. Anyone have any experience. What should she expect? Will she get an opportunity to speak? Is there anything additional that must be brought. I have a copy of all Affidavit of Support materials for her as well am my fiancee. I will be in China for the interview. My interview is coming up. Thanks. Link to comment
Guest Gene
My Lao po just survived the interveiw process without a hitch, in fact it was so easy it was scary. They did not ask my new 11 yo son any questions, they did not ask to see a "permission to immigrate" letter from his father, did not ask about custody...zip..nada.. nothing. I am sure this is on the easy side of the spectrum and others have had different experiences. Good Luck Link to comment
John & Hai Yan
At our interview yesterday Hai Yan's son was there. He was not asked any questions. I remember in the past someone reporting that a child was asked a question. I think the child was asked, if they were happy about going to the U.S. I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
