I'm in Nanjing with my fiance right now, and she has been able to get absolutely EVERYTHING (police cert, birth cert, marriage cert) from here because that's where her hukou is. About a month ago (before we knew better) we tried to get a birth certificate from her hometown, and that was a monumental comedy of errors that left us with absolutely nothing that we needed. Don't have your husband waste his time trying to get two. Link to comment
