bandj
Was wondering how soon before the interview should the medical tests be done? I assume it can take a few days for results and I have read here on CFL that they put all the forms together for the interview. We are still gathering a few updated forms on our P4 (new single certificate just in case the previous one is too old) . Nie dong wanted to go to GZ now - 4 weeks before the interview to get the tests but I thought 1 week before when I am in China would be better. Any thoughts? Link to comment
rogerluli
I think one week would be plenty. It did take my Lu Li 2 days to get the medical process completed though. She said it was incredibly crowded there. Link to comment
Jim - Portland, USA
Most go in less than a week before the interview. I think 1 week is good, pretty safe. But there is a chance that the medical exam goes afoul, and more time will be needed to clear things up. When I was at the Consulate, I talked to a guy who's gal went for the exam a few days before the interview. She had some previous exposure to TB, so they wouldn't certify her. It was because she had a TB vaccine in the past, but it took about a week to straighten things out, past the date of the interview. Link to comment
