anybody got 10 years green card not 2 years?

Just wonder if anybody get a green card good for 10 years but supposed to get a 2 years one like me? When I got interview, the lady told me I would get a conditional green card good for 2 years and then have to renew in 2 years coz it has been only 11 months since I got married. Surprisingly, I got a green card good for 10 years within a week after interview.

 

We don't know what to do. Please share your experience.Many thanks.

I'm hoping my wife gets the 10-yr. card. We have been waiting for AOS interview for over 14 mos. We have been married for over 2 years.

I agree with the former post. Just keep it. I'm glad you got it!

You still need to remove the conditions within 90 days of the two year anniversary.

Good to see you back on the site francine. I'd be inclined to keep the card but still file for removal of conditions as MikeXiao suggested.

Here's an idea...

 

Send in the form G-731 to your CIS Service Center.

This is a 2-page form located on the CIS website under forms.

You only need to fill out 1 page,(page 2, most likely) of this form and attach a brief description to it, pretty much what you posted here.

By doing this, you have done what you could, by leaving a paper trail, and you have done it legally.

Then just wait for a reply.
