beijingjenny
There are a number of threads about this - basically she needs to go to her local notary office. In my husband's case, he went to some kind of certificate office and then took what they gave him to the notary, who are now notarizing and translating everything. Link to comment
beijingjenny
Hi Ryan - welcome and what a small world - Zhou Rui is my colleague at CCTV! Tell her Jenny said hi if I don't see her first. I can talk to her about what I know (not PSB, but may be "gongzheng ju"). Though maybe she doesn't want her colleagues to know yet? Anyway, the local notary office told my husband who to call, who then told him what to do and where to go. He got one paper with his birth details and statement of no criminal record. He then had to take that to the notary office for notarization and translation. Then it's official. At least that's how it works in BJ, if that's where her hukou is. What stage are you at? I would def wait for the P-4 before you do medical check. There'll be plenty of time. But if you like I can give Zhou Rui copies of what we just got. Link to comment
