Tracking EMS pickup letter

I have the EMS tracking number for our letter.

Does anyone know where I can go on the web to track it?

Mark, this tracking number is only good in China, I don't believe you can get on Web to check like it here in the US. You fiancee should call to find out.

I just got the tracking number and sent it to Kim.

I know she will be calling as soon as she wakes.

By dialing 185 in each city you can track EMS

so GuangZhou would be 020-185

Good luck. From what I have been told by the natives, it is a very spotty thing. Some places will cooperate with you and others will just give the "mayo" answer.

Kim just ckecked the EMS tracking.

It didnt go out untill Monday(China time) and should be there tomorrow.

A lesson here, if they say it went out, check to see when and then you might get wrong info.

 

What may be happening is, even though they have the EMS tracking number, it probably didnt get picked up at the consulate untill the next working day.
