Jim - Portland, USA
On the I-485, at the end of Part 1, it asks for "Current INS status" and "Expires on". For the life of me I can't figure out what I should put here. Please check out our timeline below to see where we are. She came here on a K-1 and we got married last month. So for now I'm putting her Current Status as "Wife of U.S. citizen" and for the expiration date I'm putting "Never". Is this okay or is there a better way to do it? Something tells me there are smarter words to use Link to comment
warpedbored
Her current status is K-1 visa and the expiration date for that is on the visa in her passport. Link to comment

I'm not sure where I ever got the idea but when I first filed for AOS I assumed that my K1 fiancee became my K3 wife after we werre married. BZZZZZZZZ Wrong. Link to comment
