That is the same message that I got from Harty's and GZ's email recently. Apparently any language discussing visas is pornographic. :)

Seriously, I don't know. But I would say that there is no need to send the letter right now anyway. Actually a thank you for taking action would be more useful. Save the letter though. If in a couple of weeks nothing develops, then send it.

The common method of formatting e-mail about vasa status has been to put The name and case mumber on the subject line. But try this was and see if it works. It Cant Hurt.

Hi All,

I am deleting Ms. Harty's email from these posts. Please understand that I am not upset or admonishing anybody, it's easy to post quickly and want to share information.

It's not that I don't believe such information should be shared, it's just that I feel we should not post such information on the Web (please see Policy and Guidelines). As an email address shows up on more and more discussion forums, more and more people and SPAM programs will pick it up.

Then the owner of the email address will receive a lot of junk mail, and probably change his/her email address. If anybody does require an email address, please do feel free to get in touch with me privately and I will either provide it, or refer you to someone who has it if I do not have it myself.

Thanks,

P.J.

Jennifer,

You may wish to try faxing the letter to Ms. Harty.  The public DOS fax number from their site is in the Links and Resources section.  I will email you with a private fax number that one of our members provided.

Thanks,

P.J.  :o

P.J.. you always have everything prepared!
