The moral of this story is: namechecks only make it harder for people who want to legitimately immigrate. Think about it, the only real purpose this whole elaborate namecheck bullshit has is to cover departamental @ss. It can't stop terrorists from getting in.. it can only make sure that they don't slip by under a INS/DOS officer's nose, causing HIM to get into trouble. One other thing: how did the 5 illegals that the FBI has been looking for recently get into the country?!? I mean, the @$#@ FBI knows their faces, names, dates of births, etc. etc. etc. They probably know their shoe sizes.. so why does no one hear about all this until its too late? Obviously, the departments aren't talking to each other like they are supposed to. Link to comment
