Yeeehaaa again!!!

We've got an interview date!!!! Lai got her P4 yesterday, just three days after she submitted P3!!! Her interview date is May 26, so I'll be going there a few days sooner than I'd originally planned so I can go to the consulate with her I still won't be able to bring her back with me though, since there is a lot that we have to prepare for, including a big traditional wedding reception in Hong Kong, and my work schedule won't permit everything being done till the fall. I'll be returning for her in September

 

Lai told me about it this morning when she called to wake me up. Of course, that wasn't the first thing she mentioned.....first she told me about Carl & Bing's news, then she told me she'd see me on the 24th, then she told me why I'd be seeing her early

It certainly helps a lot that she lives in Hong Kong.....less time for mailing the forms, and the HK consulate seems to be far more efficient and responsive.

Yeah, the VSC/Hong Kong combination would have been great! At any rate, I'm definitely glad to be going through HK.....I'd hate to have to go through GZ-hell after finally getting out of C"S"C-hell.......I really feel for everyone here who's still stuck in limbo!
