Jwklein622
Hello everyone, My wife and I have gotten to the point where we have completed the ds260 and submitted documents. We have also already collected various white books needed. One thing that I'm worried about is that my wife's English is basic and I'm afraid during the interview she doesn't understand a question and that causes a problem. Does anyone have suggestions? Also, we have an eight month old child. Will my wife be able to take her into the interview as I have recently had to return to America to start work? I feel like everything is going to be fine but just worried, want to get this done the first go. Link to comment
Randy W
The baby (under 7, I believe it is) is not needed at the interview, but I would expect would be a burden for her to take care of. Her choice. She can ask to switch to a Chinese language at any point. Even those who are fluent can have trouble with some accents. Link to comment
Jwklein622
Great! Thats a relief, I was thinking it was either English or bring a translator. I feel she could do the interview but sometimes speaking fast or some words cause problems. As always thanks, CFL and Randy W have helped greatly during this whole process. Link to comment
