Hi everyone, My wife had her interview yesterday and was approved. I want to first say thank you to everyone that helped along the way, especially this site and Randy who always provided information when I posted a question or situation here. Just for anyone that is going through this process or is going to soon. Get your white books, it was the hardest part for us. The I864 was super simple if you just get the tax transcripts from the IRS website. Also, if your not sure CFL and visajorney will likely have the answer. As for the interview, my wife was only asked for a picture of our child, which she provided. The man smiled and gave it back. He then asked if she had ever been to America before, which she said no. That was the entire interview, I think providing great evidence of a bona fide relationship during the I130 helped greatly. Also, one more thing. My wife was extremely nervous and was thinking they were going to deny her for some reason, she was really doubtful before going. After the interview my wife said the people working there were very nice and that the process inside went very smoothly. DCF took us alittle less than 3 months and glad it was available, saved us alot of time. Again, thank you and I'm very greatful my wife and daughter will be here soon. Jeremy

I thought the holiday might be the issue. My wife was going to the hospital in the morning but we haven't been able to access the site to fill out the forms they wanted. Will she be able to do it there and do you know if they still expedite results? Just worrying as usual about this whole thing.

Hello everyone, so my wife is going for her interview this week. Unfortunately, the hospital isn't open today, Monday, and their site I can't access to fill out the forms. Can anyone please give us advice on what to do or what maybe going? We are soo close to being done and I hope this isn't going to cause a problem. Also, is expedited results still available for 100rmb like before? Thanks

Update***So I finally got the email to schedule the interview. So, if anyone is reading this, yes, it can take several weeks after you have completed the DS260 and sent the documents to get the email. Only after you get the email will you be able to schedule an interview.

I sent two emails, got the same email back both times about they haven't received the paperwork yet and would send an email to schedule the interview when they did. Also, been trying everyday to schedule the interview but shows that my wifes GUZ case number cannot be found once I get to step eight to schedule the appointment. I'm hoping to hear something soon as I have returned to America early to start a job and my wife and eight month old are stuck in China.

Hi everyone again, So I sent my documents to Guangzhou through a Citic bank about three weeks ago. How long does it take after the ds260 and documents are recieved for Guangzhou to send an email to schedule an interview? I'm alittle worried these documents were lost on the way to Guangzhou.

So I finally was able to log on and select the delivery address for documents but I can't schedule the interview. I believe Guangzhou has to recieve the requested documents before I can do so. Right now it's saying October 7 for first available appointment. Hopefully it doesn't get pushed too far out before we can schedule. Thanks for the help

Doesn't allow me to create an account. Says Errors Your request cannot be processed at this time. The site administrator has been alerted.User could not be created. Please ensure First Name and Last Name are entered as they are in your passport. Tried a couple times. This is for a cr1 visa, maybe I need to wait for a follow up email after they recieve the documents and look at the DS260? Not sure, just don't want to waste time as I'm back in the states for work and my wife is waiting with our 8 month old in China. Was wondering if anyone remembers what the process was?

On September 2 our DS260 was completed and submitted. About a week ago we sent documents requested. I'm just wondering do we wait for an email with instructions to schedule an interview or should we be doing something else? I'm just worried we are waiting while we could have been doing something. We have all the white books ready and affidavit of support. Thanks

Great! Thats a relief, I was thinking it was either English or bring a translator. I feel she could do the interview but sometimes speaking fast or some words cause problems. As always thanks, CFL and Randy W have helped greatly during this whole process.

Hello everyone, My wife and I have gotten to the point where we have completed the ds260 and submitted documents. We have also already collected various white books needed. One thing that I'm worried about is that my wife's English is basic and I'm afraid during the interview she doesn't understand a question and that causes a problem. Does anyone have suggestions? Also, we have an eight month old child. Will my wife be able to take her into the interview as I have recently had to return to America to start work? I feel like everything is going to be fine but just worried, want to get this done the first go.

Update:::looks like we had to go to a few of the banks until we finally found one that knew what to do. The other banks literally told us all kinds of excuses to why they couldn't. So, the documents have been sent and hopefully we will hear back soon. Thanks again Randy W for the help.

We have the cover letter printed and everything ready. I was looking at the citic bank locations in the email, is that an issue? We are going to try another citic bank, hope there's no issue this time.

Thanks but the people at Citic bank are saying they can only forward tourists visa documents. I don't understand why they can't just forward these documents to Guangzhou.
