TWO days #travelguide for #Guilin（桂林）, this #summer, pick an #weekend and back your packs!
It’s the hot summer season, how about indulging yourself into the green mountains and clear rivers?

Day ONE: must visit spots in the Guilin city centre

Zizhou Park（訾洲公园）---Sun and Moon Twin Tower（日月双子塔）---Zhengyang Street（正阳街）----East and West Alley（东西巷）

In Zizhou Park, you can get the best view of the Guilin’s landmark---Xiangshan #Mountain. In hot summer, you can drink a cup of tea, stroll around the and admire the #Lijiang River. There’s also sightseeing bus in this park.

Ticket: 30RMB（entrance ticket+afternoon tea: 68RMB, you can it in any time from 10:30 am-5pm）

Visit Time: 2-4hours

The best route for experiencing the #nightlife in Guilin city centre:

You can visit these three spots in the evening on foot, cuz they are not far apart. From a distance, the twin towers are completely integrated into the beautiful #lakes and mountains, here you can see the beautiful night scenery of Guilin~ Every night the lights of the twin towers will be on. One is golden light, the other is silver white light.

And then just a few steps across Shanhu Lake, Guilin’s famous commercial #street, there are many small shops and unique snack bars in Zhengyang Street, visit the night market here is a good choice.

East and West Alley is the only historical street left from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Guilin. The space scale is pleasant and it is a view of the ancient #history of Guilin. There are many local specialties and handmade products.

Guilin specialties: sweet-scented osmanthus, sweet-scented osmanthus cake, Guilin Sanhua wine... worth buying

Day TWO: must-see spots in #Yangshuo（阳朔）

Take a bus from the Guilin Station, 1.5 hours and cost 25RMB

Route one: Yulong River（遇龙河）----Ten Mile Gallery（十里画廊）------West Street（西街）

Yulong River is the longest tributary of Lijiang River in Yangshuo. You can take a bamboo raft in the morning. Jinlong Bridge to Jiuxian part is most recommended! You can also get a taste of being a "captain" and rowing by yourself.

After lunch, you can begin your #cycling trip to the Ten-Mile Gallery. There are many viewing platforms for you to take a rest during the trip. Ancient banyan trees and stunning countryside scenery are expecting your visit!

Begin your nightlife in the evening at the lively West Street which is the whole snack street & bar street, you can come here to feed yourself first, and then go to listen to music and drink with friends~ End a pleasant day!

Route Two: Xianggong Mountain（相公山）---Xingping Ancient Town（兴坪古镇）---20RMB banknote background/internet celebrity fisherman

Get up early at the morning to get the most stunning sunrise at the Xianggong Mountain. This mountain is also a recommended spot for a panoramic view of Lijiang River.

Then you can have lunch at the peaceful Xingping Ancient Town, you can go to see ancient buildings, there are a lot of food in the ancient town! Wander around and try the specialty here.

Take pictures on the Huangbu Inveted Image（黄布倒影）---the famous 20 RMB banknote background!

Fishermen wearing hats and velvet suits rowed on the Lijiang River to fish in bamboo rafts. You can take a photo with the celebrity old fisherman! Attention! Be sure to make an appointment in advance~

Breathtaking! In #Guilin, besides the karst landforms, there is also one of the seven most beautiful #Danxia landforms in #China----Bajiaozhai（八角寨）. 
It's also a paradise for hikers and shutterbugs. The whole journey of the climbing takes about 2-4 hours, and you can cross #Hunan and #Guangxi in one step.
