ZhWei
Hey there-Getting ready for the interview. My brother is going to help me sponsor my husband. I am a stay-at-home wife right now, so I have no job. We are job hunting and it is likely that we'll have something for both of us before the interview. We have about 18000 in savings but no hard assets. My brother's salary is well over the poverty-mark (he's an engineer), and he's single. Do we need to get any more sponsors? Should I ask my brother to disclose any assets? We have his taxes for 3 years, his biodata page, his I-864, his recruitment letter for his company- do we need any other paperwork? A letter from his company? Assets? Thanks for all help! Link to comment
dnoblett
You will need two I-864 forms. One from petitioner (you) along with evidence of US Domicile and IRS returns, or evidence you did not need to file, most simply late file returns showing low or no income and attach copies to the I-864 Joint sponsor also provides an I-864 along with Evidence of US Citizenship or lawful permanent residence, financials such as copies of returns or tax transcripts, employer letter, copies of pay stubs ( 6 months) Study topics tagged I-864 http://candleforlove.com/forums/tags/I-864/ And Domicile http://candleforlove.com/forums/tags/Domicile/ Edited January 2, 2021 by Randy W (see edit history) Link to comment
