Are Chinese ladies wok killers!?!

Carl, I have always been a cast iron man myself. You just can't beat it. Yes, some of our little wives can't handle them. My wife is little but she is VERY strong but she likes stainless steel as it requires less maint. and cleans easily and nothing to do after that. If cast iron is prepared properly and not scrubbed to the shiny metal with a steel pad, there by leaving the seasoning on it, there is very little maint. to it. Of course it is almost indestructible. I have several that belonged to my grandmother. We have two sets of Revere Ware that the wife uses. We do not have a wok and we have an electric range. I do joke with the wife about setting up the large torch that I have that hooks up to a 20lb propane tank for burning weeds and other things to create her a Chinese stove but she says that she is happy with what she has.

 

Edit to add: She does not fry anything. She don't want the grease all over her overhead cabinets.
