Help with selecting document delivery address

Hi ,

I need help with select document delivery address. My parents immgrant visa interview were scheduled by NVC on Oct. 20th, the coming Monday. I have an account with CGI Stanely( used before for non-immigrant visa),i just logged in try to select document delivery address, there is no info there. Does Anyone have any idea?

 

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Since it is now the 27th I suspect it has been sorted out.

 

However I probably would have created a new account on CGI Stanley site and selected the CITIC bank location.

Dan, this is what I get when I log into CGI. We have an appointment from the NVC for Nov 19, yet this shows nothing, does not recognize our GZo #s, and shows no fee paid, when they all have been. It did allow me to select a CITIC bank location during the profile update, but the lower right box to schedule or change that address does not work. The NVC website says she will be told at the end of the interview where to pick up the visa. It seems my wife is on a forum or two in China with some ladies who have been through the CR1/2 process and they all say she must select one of those 4 addresses, which none were the one I chose for a CITIC bank in her city. Anyway, it has made some nervous feeling between my baby and I for a few days now. Did we even need to get involved with this CGI thing?

Did you try using GUZ instead of GZO?

 

I just tried the old GUZ numbers and it is not found or recognized either, so I just put it all back to GZO #s. I just don't think this CGI is needed if doing the efiling from the states, but maybe I'm wrong. I will do some more reading tonight.

 

PS: Plus wife is being told she will need to pay more fees at the consulate when she arrives and when she picks up the visas/passports. Maybe those are for some delivery service, I can't understand her. The med fees were quite a bit higher than the letter said, also.

Only thing I can figure CGI site would be needed is to designate delivery after interview. I have yet to see a post from a member sharing how delivery after interview was set up when using the electronic processing at the NVC stage.

Actually i called the calle center and got help from them, finally i was able to register document delivery address.

 

If any one has questions, it would be a good idea to call them.

What was your solution to this?

You need to fill out all of these screens, if you have not already done so. It is a second way to select the CITIC Bank pick up location, as I recall. Don't remember the main way, as I was in China then and limited what I could post on CFL, and CFV never opened.

 

If you have filled out all of the screens then here is a way to check to make sure they have your CITIC Bank location selected and in their system.

Note: There are many CITIC Banks in larger cities. But, you are limited by what they give you. When you go to that bank, they may direct you to the main bank in that city to send something to the consulate. Just follow their direction. When Guangzhou sends something to you, it will probably be at the bank you selected, but again, that bank may direct you to the main bank in that city. Just go with the flow

Doug, after the interview when double-checking stuff, is it normal for the step immediately after selecting the document delivery address where you enter your case number to report "case not found?" Did you ever notice this?
