bubbahotek
My wife would like her Sister to come and live in the U.S. I'm sure this can be done but I'm unsure how to get the ball rolling? Her sister is 57 and retired. I'm guess the wife and I would be the sponsors. Bubba Link to comment
dnoblett
No can do in with any sort of speed. Here is what has to be done.Your spouse has to naturalize and become a US Citizen. (Can file the N-400 at 3 years of residency) Once your spouse is a U.S. Citizen she can then file an I-130 for her sibling. Processing of that I-130 for a F4 class immigrant from China is taking about 10 years to process from filing the I-130 to getting a Visa number assigned by NVC So plan on at least 12 years or more. Sometimes F4 processing is quicker if there are any left over numbers from the lower classes. More: http://candleforlove.com/forums/tags/forums/Siblings/ Link to comment
