How do they send/mail the P3 Interview packet

Recommended Posts

My I-129F petition was approved, sent to NVC, and was just sent to the GUZ embassy.

I made a mistake in the beneficiary mailing address (written wrong in English), but the mailing address written in Chinese is correct. Can anyone who has already received P3 interview packet know how the embassy writes the mailing address to be delivered? In English or Chinese? Also what delivery service do they use? "kwai-di" (UPS/DHL type delivery)? or regular postal mail? Thanks!

Typically they send out a letter to Beneficiary instructing how to proceed working with CGI Stanley.

If address is not correct, contact consulate via email and correct it, also giving them an email address and perhaps fiancee's phone number which they can use to contact. However they use the Chinese address, and if that is correct you should be fine.

My wife and I received an email from the consulate when my application arrived--both email addresses were on our application--with instructions for preparing for the interview (only telling us to go to CGI and do this and that; seems it's all done through them now). I'm not expecting a paper packet, and even if I get one, I doubt it will have any information I can't get already.

I filed an I-130, and filed DCF. I don't know whether it will be the same for you, but maybe that's how they do the P3 packets these days? Do you remember giving an email address on the I-129?

If I do receive a packet in the mail, I'll be sure to let you know how it arrives.

This thread has to do with K-1 Fiancee visas which use I-129F filed in the USA, you are DCF process which does not use I-129F.

When submitting your DS-230 to USCIS in Beijing or Guangzhou, they either took your email address, or if not will send you a letter with instructions as to what to do next.
