Ordering Pharmacy Stuff Online

A friend of mine wants to know advice for ordering Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, etc. online and having it delivered to a China address. I have tried these pills with happy results and I told him that Canadian companies do this for many things, but I'm not sure of how this works here in China. I know they sell them at the local pharmacies for 100rmb+ per dose which is wildly expensive compared to online, which is why he asked. Any help (message me if you want)?

TIA

They have gotten more restrictive as of Jan this year about ordering drugs across the border. You may need to provide customs with a prescription which must be acquired internationally, even if it is something that is available OTC at a local pharmacy.

Don't count on being able to do this any more.

So he has to have a prescription from outside China to get it through customs?

No - he has to have a prescription from INSIDE China. As to what will or won't be allowed through, I don't really know, but if it's available at a local pharmacy, you may be out of luck.

We had to scramble for a prescription for my blood pressure medication, with an admonition to not do it again.

I have ordered generic Viagra through the internet several times for Chinese friends to mail and take back to China.

100 100mg pills costs ~$150 = $1.50 each, (my urologist was amazed at how cheap).

The order gets placed and filled by an offshore pharmacy anywhere from India to the Canary Islands where some of my past orders were shipped from. Never had a problem with credit card theft, bad quality or non-delivery. And, I have done this for years now. Don't use it myself too much anymore... kind of gives me acid indigestion and a headache.

Yes, I'd been ordering from the International Drug Mart in India for 3 years without any trouble at all, until my first order this year. Customs policies have changed as of this year, at least in Nanning (where my packages would be "turned over to customs"). Your mileage may or may not vary.

Seems direct mailing from an outside pharmacy to China would be difficult to hide from customs. I guess the long way around is to have someone order, receive and reship it to Fu Lai from outside China in a disguised package?

Mine was fairly well "brown paper wrapped", but labeled as "medical supplies". Yes, you can always try to re-package and label it as personal items or something else.

But we were pretty much told not to do that again. I'll stick with Chinese sources, myself.

When you say Chinese sources, does that mean you will only order and receive your meds through a Chinese pharmacy? Is so, do you have concerns re quality?

Chinese quality? Does that mean, either no erection at all, or one lasting... cough, cough "8 hours" or more instead of the 4 hour warning I see them giving on the American

TV set? :rotfl:

The word for the day (look it up in your F'in Wagnall's) is . . . . . . http://www.whyzzat.com/styles/flexile/xenforo/smilies/drumrollsmileyfi1.gif . . . . . . . . . .

pri-a-pism

Dr. Wikipedia says

Treatment is different for each type. Priapism is considered a medical emergency, which should receive proper treatment by a qualified medical practitioner. Early treatment can be beneficial for a functional recovery.

. . .

Potential complications include ischemia, clotting of the blood retained in the penis (thrombosis), and damage to the blood vessels of the penis which may result in an impaired erectile function or impotence. In serious cases, the ischemia may result in gangrene, which could necessitate penis removal.

Not a pretty sight (or thought).

Yes. No, I'm cool with that. Most drugs that we consider prescrition are available behind the counter at pharmacies (they'll track your purchases). For diazepam (similar to valium), we have to go to a hospital across town and get an actual prescription.

The big problem I have with Chinese medicines is that they're all in CHINESE, and tend to come in similar-looking white tablet form.

Not sure that I'd want to try something like this - http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.33.pi2mdd&id=23960936819

Well sir, it shows you how much I know about those sort of pills......http://www.whyzzat.com/styles/flexile/xenforo/smilies/drumrollsmileyfi1.gif........ Zip :dunno: :baby:

With all the stuff written about Chinese knockoffs I was trying to make a joke about the pills not working at all, or doing something weird like giving you an "8" hour banana in yore front pocket instead of what you hear on the TV set of 4 hours. Alas, I'd never make a good stand up, or even sit down, comedian. :oneeye:
