I called the consulate service line and reported the situation yesterday. They opened some July slots. Thanks Randy :)

That's great! Did you happen to notice if there were any open after July 15? Especially the week of July 15 to July 22?

No, it's the first two weeks that whey opened

Interesting - the ACS appointments are still not open for July, but there are plenty for June.

They still haven't announced anything about the move, except for the one notice from ACS.

What's the number for the service line? :) I will dig around for it.

This has been up on the embassy site for awhile:

http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/service.html It talks about the move there.

That's the American Citizen Services unit. That and a similar announcement from the Adoptions Unit are the only announcements that I've seen - none for either the Visa Units, or the Consulate itself.

I wouldn't think that they would leave people in the dark as far as their plans this close to the actual date.

I would expect a general announcement for the entire consulate, but there may be security reasons as to why they haven't made one.

Ahh I see...Thanks for the info Randy! I have been trying to get a interview date on the CGI Stanley site for over a week now. Between my Fiance and I we check at least 10x a day but nothing is popping up.
