In Beihai - this lady asked very politely, but I figured she probably wouldn't follow up with a "Thank you!" afterward.

 

Lai Lai Tommy's is a Western restaurant, abandoned by the original Australian owner to his Chinese employees, no not related to LA Tommy's.

Beautiful old church. There use to be one in Beijing where they built the Olympic compound so I wonder if it survived. They any excuse that they think that they can get away with to knock them down.

Wucai Beach(五彩滩) on #Beihai’s Weizhou Island (涠洲岛), offers great sea erosion #landscapes. The #beach is perfect to observe sunrise, and the best time is from 5~6am. By that time, the beach glowed by golden light, terrific!

Weizhou island was formed by fire and brimstone.When the sun rises on this volcanic stone beach, the sunlight reflecting off of the wet, crimson rocks looks truly spectacular.Weizhou can be easily reached from Beihai port via ferry, which departs daily at 8.30am, 11.15am, 4.00pm and 5.30pm, and takes approximately 3 hours. #travel #tips #island #beach
