Hobber
Hi,Hope all is well with you all. It's been a while since we have been on here. All is going great. Lili came over in December of 2011 and we married. She received her 2 year green card in August of 2012.When I did all the paper work I didn't send in the docs so Lili could work (we didn't plan on her working for a while). Now she wants to work? Can she legally work with the 2 year green card or do we need something else? Thanks,Matt and Lili Link to comment

No other document is required to prove her eligibility. Link to comment
dnoblett
Per form I-9 used by employers, to verify eligible to work, a lawful permanent resident needs to show Green-Card (I-551) Column A item number 2. http://www.uscis.gov/i-9 http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad334/dnoblett/Immigration%20Stuff/I-9_zps3832491d.jpg Other scenario would be once having the CR green-card to visit SSA office and order a new SSN card with the "Work With DHS auth" Notation removed, then could simply provide an item in column B and C, DL, and the new SSN card without the notation, handy for the period of ROC.
