1. should the biometric fee be paid up together with the I-751 application fee ?

 

2. when would they set the appointment for biometric ?shortly after filing or it may take sometimes ?

In case she is travelling abroad at that time , how should this be handled ?

 

The 1 year automatic extension letter after submitting the I -751 . Can that letter be used to obtain the green card stamp at the Consulate ?

2) Typically 1 to 2 months after filing I-751

 

LPR status does not end, the extension letter serves as evidence of status, travel and work is allowed by the letter.

 

Some have had issues traveling with letter, sometimes having problems leaving China. To avoid this it is recommended to do an Infopass appointment at your field office and explain travel consern, and request and I-551 stamp be placed in passport to avoid China Exit issues.

 

The consulate will not do a green-card stamp.
