Citizenship question

Hi Everyone,

 

Okay so I am helping a Monk from Laos file for US Citizenship. He is holding Green Card for awhile and expires in July 2014. Does anyone know if there is a special form I need to use for them or do I use the same N400 form like I would use if I filed for my Wife?

Nothing special Just an N-400

 

Needs to be a green-card holder for at least 5 years.

He will need to study for the citizenship test. Study materials can be found on the USCIS website. He can file up to 90 days before the 5 year anniversary of his original green card.

Just for completeness sake - I'll point out that this person is NOT the spouse of an American citizen. Someone who IS the spouse of an American citizen can file after only 3 years.
