dnoblett
That's all you need to travel. Make sure you book airline ticket in passport name. Link to comment

Will do~~~ (is the copy of the marriage certificate enough or do I have to carry the original one?)Copy is fine, though the last time my wife went to China she did not have one, only passport and green-card, and had no issues leaving china or arriving in the USA, they do understand this. Chinese Passport: Given NameSSN: Given NameMarriage: Given NameGreen Card/AOS: Given Name is Middle Initial with my Last Name So it is easy to travel domestically. For International Flight, I booked in her Given NameShe brought Marriage Certificate, Green Card, and Passport on a trip back to China. What name do I need to put on the RETURN to US ticket?TSA statement for names is confusing What is my best option for the future?Just change her name through SSA and Chinese Passport, is there any issue with the marriage certificate then? Your marriage certificate shows her given (maiden) name and your name. This can be used as proof of the name change, and will usually be recognized as such. This is not changed. The Chinese passport allows an "also known as" addendum (a new page inserted in the passport) - this should eliminate any confusion. For the return trip, you need to book in the Chinese passport name. Until you can get the addendum, have her show the marriage certificate as proof of the name change. The green card is needed as proof that she will be admitted at the POE. Link to comment
Mango Icecream
I am thinking about going back China this year too. I have Chinese Passport, US conditional green card and Advanced parole. Since my husband came from Hongkong, we are going to fly to Hongkong, spend a few days there, then have another few days in China mainland, then go back to Hongkong and take a fight back to the U.S. Just be sure, can I use Chinese passport to enter into Hongkong and Shenzhen? How long can I stay in Hongkong? Thank a lot! Link to comment

Also AP doc not needed for travel, that doc only valid for travel before getting the green card. The green card allows travel and re entry to the USA. Link to comment
