ning1986
Hello All, I have a quick question with regard to the CR-1 process, I hope this is the right place to ask this question. When we started the immigration process, my wife and I was married for less than 1 year, therefore we had to go through the CR-1 instead of IR-1. Anyway, the question is do I apply for the removal of conditional of the perment residence 90 days before the expiration of her green card? Many thanks Ning Link to comment
dnoblett
Quick answer, YES. File the I-751 package jointly within 90 days prior to 2 year green-card expiration. Link to comment

dnoblett
This this process should be relatively painless Sort of, I-751 is somewhat more work than what was needed to get a 2 year conditional card, I-751 Removal of conditions is all about showing still in a bona fide marital relationship at 2 years of residency, so is all about providing evidence showing a normal marriage. Zhou Zhou
This is very helpful information for me and the links were a great help. I am now getting ready to send our I-751 package to Vermont. I have a couple questions... Will USCIS really take a personal check? Do I need to enclude 2 photos of my wife? Should I fasten this small (70 pages) petition with those 2 prong fasteners that I used for the I-130? Link to comment
